September 23Sep 23 They needed this win today because they likely won’t win another game until Saturday

September 23Sep 23 Off-topic (and it would be nice if league threads were popular), but the AL playoff race is pretty feast-or-famine. The Mariners have 73 wins in late September, and have not been eliminated yet. The AL West champion may have a losing record.

It’s going to be the rays from the AL cause judge is hurt and Boston and Yankees will face in the WC even though they have the 2nd and 3rd best records in the AL. The NL has more depth. Frankly dodgers are on a class by themselves. Brewers are next tier. Then Braves, cubs, Phillies and Padres are all about equal. Albeit the Phillies find ways to lose to cubs and Braves

The AL West winner could have a losing record. The Mariners are still alive with a 73-84 record. 11 games under .500 and in the last week of the season and they can technically still win the division! I would have to look at the numbers, but it has bee like this all season. The NL must've won a ton of games in interleague play.

Why they decided all of a sudden he’s gonna pitch to Jt whom he’s awful with. You’re not gonna play Jt in the playoffs with Nola. Jt can’t hit worth crap either so you’re not getting an offensive boost by playing him.
September 24Sep 24 Nola wasn't great but, he wasn't flat out awful either. The offense on the other hand goes back to their fn bs.
