What Painter did today is why I wanted them to have Wood on the roster. He's pitched in big games and is better than the crap they have.

He’s not ready. He had some issues in double. Stuff is really good but his control isn’t all there yet and he has a tendency to be wild. Really if Bowlan didn’t get hurt and overworked prior to September they’d have been much better off

Painter was awesome today. Showed us all a lot. If, and I know it's a big if, they somehow win tomorrow, it's nice to know that he can either start or give the bullpen 2-3 innings. That flexibility is huge in the playoffs.

Painter took Mattingly off the hook in a big way today. 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 10th facing elimination with your closer unavailable. Could have gone very badly very easily …. but, it’s the Braves.

With Nola on the mound for the decisive game tomorrow, unfortunately 7 innings from him is exceptionally remote. The entire bullpen should be warming up by the bottom of the 5th.

It’s gonna be nola to start supposedly. And Wheeler on 3 days rest is going to be able to be used for like two maybe three innings. Really they need to start Stubbs if they pitch Nola. Nola’s numbers with Stubbs are good. Meanwhile, with Jt, it is awful. So if they don’t start Stubbs, they’re Fing idiots. They’ve started Jt the last two times Nola pitched, he wasn’t good.

I'm so lucky with this series that all the games are in the afternoon meaning 8pm starts for me. So today we end this miserable year OR we officially move forward into "they sucked us in again CharlieBrown/Lucy" territory.
