Another potentially issue is Realmuto might play more to the scouting report of the player whereas Stubbs plays to whatever Nola’s strengths are.

His ERA is in the 2s and 3 runs less when Stubbs is catching him. And Stubbs has been catching him since July til the last two games. And the last two games he’s been bad. they have three catchers on this roster. So even if you pulled Stubbs and put Jt after Nola and something happen to Jt, you still have a catcher available.

You would think they would look at the stats and just go with what works but they won’t because they don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings especially a veteran. It’s not about what works anymore, it’s about pride. That’s why he needs to see the door after this year and get a manager that will switch it up

October 2Oct 2 Why in the blue hell are we starting Nola in an elimination game? Im a guy on the couch just watching baseball on tv for decades. But even I know this guy throws meatballs that turn in to home runs in early innings. If Wheeler has a pulse, he should be starting.
