But, incidentally, I am going to the Grand Canyon for a quick weekend in about a month. Some year I plan on taking more time and seeing the Mighty 5 along with the Grand Canyon.

Harper is actually fine. It’s essentially 5 years left at $25 mil per. A team would take 3 more productive years of Harper at that price. Not sure what you’d get back though. His contract looks better cause some players got ridiculous contracts after him.

October 6Oct 6 Nobody, and I repeat nobody is taking on Turner's contract. The only hope is that in the new CBA, they do what the NHL did after their lockout in the mid 2000's which is to give each team 1 or 2 compliance buyouts. That's the only way I can see Turner off this team, even if he waives his no trade clause. Harper is interesting in that yeah, he is still a productive player, but the acquiring team will not only have to deal with his personality, I have a hunch that he would also demand said team to add additional years on to his contract, especially with that a-hole Boras as his agent. What team would be dumb enough to do that? Maybe Vegas?

But you should strongly consider trading Schwaber, Wheeler, and Duran at that point. Because if you’re going to trade guys then do somewhat of a rebuild, you don’t need a closer until you’re out of the rebuild. And by that time, we don’t know what Duran is gonna be. Maximize whatever value Schwarber, Duran and Wheeler have as well to get more prospects into the rebuild

I think that came out because I don’t think he and Dave Dombrowski see eye to eye. Frankly, I don’t think Harper likes Dave Dombrowski. And he probably wants Dave fired. And the Phillies refused to do that. That’s why I kind of think his name popped up.Yeah, nobody’s taking on Turner’s contract. It’s why I really hope Bryce Harper says if Dave is back I wanna be traded. Cause it puts the Phillies in a position that either they have to get rid of Dave and keep Harper. Or get rid of Harper so that when this thing collapses Dave’s finally out.
