I like Sosa but this is why he shouldn’t play as much as he is. He’s 1 for last 10 and the 1 hit was the catcher’s interference. He is 4 for last 23 (.174). He’s good when he plays times and maybe 3 times a week. Anything more you start to see his flaws more

Hell yeah

Harper saw 1 pitch in the zone that entire at bat

Should’ve just kept Schwarber as the runner. Don’t understand that move

Wilson is also not fast. If you were gonna do that move then should’ve used Rojas as the runner.

I would love kwan more if we were just replacing Brandon marsh with kwan. The fact of the matter is you still have marsh in centerfield who stinks. And you still have a massive problem with power from the right side. He is a left-handed bat. Which is already a problem with the lineup. So you’re still going to have the lack of protection behind Schwarber and Harper in the playoffs and allow for teams to use LHP heavy cause of the lineup. teams will pitch around them to face Castellanos and Alec Bohm. You really needed somebody for the last 2 1/2 years to protect those two guys to force them to have to pitch to those two guys in the playoffs. Castellanos when hot can be that but god only knows if he is ice cold or red hot then

Also i think kwan is going to get far more at the deadline as it’s a sellers market then if you just did it in the offseason. He’s not worth Crawford, miller or painter to acquire. He’s good not great. I’d this we’re giving up someone like simply Abel I’d do it. But it’s not. If I’m giving up a Crawford or a miller i want someone who’s capable of protecting Harper and schwarber. Also if we didn’t have Crawford tearing it up in the minors who eventually projects into like a kwan type hitter.

I think we need both a kwan/crawford type and a right handed power to be a serious contender. Both to me are just as important as each other. Agree kwan doesn’t necessarily protect Harper/ schwarber in the way you want, but adding him at the top of the lineup changes things as him and Turner can generate runs. You don’t just have the entire game relying on schwarber/harper homering.

Robby T is lost in playoff/big games

You have to be freaking kidding me. This damn team

Weston Wilson should be no where near an important moment, Rojas should have bee.......oh nevermind

Seth Johnson should be no where near an important moment, Walker should have bee.....oh nevermind

At least Schwarbs can actually steal bases but slow for slower is just dumb and you lose a bat too not that it matters anymore since Johnson is going to lose the game because of our incredibly deep bullpen.

The issue to me is Crawford projects to be like Kwan. They should’ve let Crawford just come up and see if he could be that (obviously wasn’t going to be as good from the start but you can tell if he could get better as he played more to flourish eventually into that). If he succeeded then you already had kwan like hitter and no need to trade for it and can move to a RH power hitter. If he didn’t then can make the move for Kwan. Imo Kwan isn’t the type of hitter you cash your biggest chips in for.

Hope DD is on burning up the phone lines

I kinda doubt that

Duran looks like the perfect phillie, in all the worst ways

Could really use 4 catcher’s interferences

Just let Rojas steal 2nd, 3rd and home

Please stop making me watch Kepler. I’ll do anything
