I wonder if the Phillies lead the league in taking called 3rd strikes. It's not like they are bad calls either. Most of them are right in the damn box.

Yeah his 4 homer game skews it to look like it’s not as horrific. The games from Nats series til now excluding that are horrible. He’s hitting just over .050

Tbh marsh is usually the only hitter that gets struck out on a bad call. It feels like he has that happen more often than not. It’s probably cause he strikes out a lot anyway

Frustrating as hell. You're taught in little league you protect the plate with 2 strikes and these dopes stand there and look at it.

The worse is when they swing at pitches prior that aren’t remotely close then stare at the one that’s a strike or close.

Yup. They needed that win. They had been 1-5 in last 6 games vs. playoff teams and the offense had looked atrocious the past week outside of Thursday.
