Love Bryce but the reason why he hasn’t fully gotten back to what he was prior to his hamstring is because he’s still swinging at crap. Like he has pitches that are on his hands and he’s trying to swing and hit it out. You’re not gonna do anything with it. Or if you’re gonna swing at a ball that’s almost in the other batters box and you’re not gonna do anything with it. Until he gets that straightened out he’s not gonna fully get back to what he was first 3.5 months of the year

hes had 1 walk in 7 games. He should’ve easily had a lot more if he just didn’t swing at bad pitches. 

Pages had 4 hits in his last 10 games. Plays the Phillies has 5 in 3 games

They actually have good matchups pitching wise vs. the dbacks. Dbacks just swept the guardians in Cleveland. Had a double header today so Sunday is likely a bullpen game or a minor league call up. Won 16 of 21. I’d be really happy if we get a split and really thrilled if we won 3 of 4

After seeing that block base call again, if I were the Dodgers I would be furious. 3rd baseman was no where near the bag and did not impede Bohm, this is another example of these brutal umpires making game changing calls but everyone likes it when goes for them so these dopes are never held accountable.

As much as Rojas’ bat is an issue right now, his defense is a significant upgrade to marsh. Marsh isn’t good enough defensively as a CF. He’s good as a LF. With hays likely going in IL, likely seeing more Rojas in CF until he’s back.

Yup. I also thought Rojas was overlooked last night. He had a hit that allowed schwarber to come up and make it 4-3. Then took a walk so marsh could score on a passed ball and schwarber to Come up and hit a 3 run homer

Yeah, gotta give Rojas credit when due. He had a good night especially with that catch.

Braves out here pulling a Phillies after the all star break with a far easier schedule than the Phillies.

 if the Phillies are the one seed, they are going to face the winner of the 4/5. Which right now would be the diamondbacks or Padres, who are both playing the best baseball in the NL. The Padres have a monster bullpen. that bullpen is scary and they have the talent. and the diamondbacks are getting everybody back healthy in the rotation and their bullpen is much better than it was last year with the moves they made. Not saying I wanna be the 2 seed, but you might ultimately be better off due to matchups. If let’s say the Braves/mets get the 6 seed and the Milwaukee Brewers get the 3 you would face either Milwaukee or the Mets/Braves in the nlds. I think it’s a better match up with how the Braves are playing and the injuries they have and just the overall construction of the Brewers .

Braves are again getting pummeled today by the Brewers 14-4 after 7.
