August 28, 20242 yr I think Walker is going to deliver a quality start (and maybe even a really good one). I’m not a Walker fan, don’t think he should be in the rotation, and think he’s generally going to let them down from here on out. But the sheer law of averages and the nature of some players, particularly pitchers, delivering a strong last gasp with their backs against the wall…I bet everyone gets a surprise tomorrow. A too little too late out of nowhere really good start.

That's why you hear Kruck in a lot of games going on about Yuengling lol. It used to be Darren Daulton my sister couldn't stand dealing with him. Then it was Tommy Greene but, no one gave a sheet about him lol. They were originally going to go with kruk before daulton but, they thought Kruck was a fall down drunk and an ass. Turned out Daulton was the ass and kruk ended up being great to work with lol.

Helped us back into a top overall seed in the NL. That said i think this is he year you’d prefer being a 2 seed over a 1. 1 seed is very likely getting winner of az/padres WC and the 2 is getting brewers/braves. I tend to think dbacks/padres are both better than brewers and braves
August 28, 20242 yr Some balls hit hard but overall a solid performance from Nola and just what was needed. The added plus was saving the better arms in the pen as they'll be needed today with any luck. So we win the series and now are 8-4 on the 17 game stretch where we chipped in with hopes of 10 or 11 wins. Tonight seems tough but the Astros pitcher isn't exactly tearing it up so maybe an 8-6 game could be in the cards. Time for Scwarber or Harper? Marsh with another hit. Is that a 5-game hitting streak?
