Huge win. Now you just have to be able to get at least one more with your three big guns going, don’t ya?

We need schwarber, Turner and Harper to start doing things. Castellanos has been great since June. And they’ve found a way to win tonight with them not doing much. But schwarber is 5-27 (.185) with 1 HR (March), Turner is 6-34 (.176) (0 for last 14 vs. Braves) and Harper is 2-25 (.080) with 0 HRs against Atlanta this year.

Lol

Probably should’ve put Rojas in to bunt in that circumstance. He’s done it more than hays. And he’s a defensive replacement anyway.

I kind of rather play Rojas everyday and Marsh and Hays platoon.... What do you think?

With how Rojas has hit since the all star break I’m for it. hays is a platoon player and so is marsh. If Rojas reverts back then fine play the other two more. But right now Rojas if he’s gonna start 1 game every 6 games then he should be in the minors playing every day so he can get better. He doesn’t need to start every game but it should be more than 1 game every 6 when he’s been good since the AS break

Agreed. The key now is for those three to find their groove again.

Actually concern about the lack of power for Harper and schwarber. Schwarber is on pace to have nearly 12 less HRs this year and really struggling since the 3 HR game. He’s going to hit the least amount of HRs since 2021 unless he gets going. And Harper has had 2 HRs in 29 games. They need them hitting for power especially in the playoffs. Those are your two big power guys.

100%. They can scratch another W or even two in this series with their pitching but long term they won’t win if the power guys don’t start hitting again.

We did it!!!

Hats off to Castellanos.  Without his consistent (did I actually use that word with him?) hitting over the last nearly three months we would not have much of a lead in the East.

Love how the dog at the end runs to the mound trying to get the pitcher to throw the ball to play fetch

Really want to see them hit Lopez and schwallenbach. They’ve been awful against both this year. Would like to see them be productive at the plate against both.

How often do you think nola brings this up to wheeler?

Don't tell that to Dick Allen, Johnny Callison, Chris Short or Jim Bunning.

I would remind him on the anniversary every year. Give him a new present. Like one year a framed picture signed by me. One year a keychain. And so on and so forth
