Reality is they have no good young players and older players with big contracts, could be looking at a decade of no playoffs

Nah.
 Middleton is a great owner.

Harper is a solid cornerstone.

Don’t lose faith because of a few questionable decisions.

Basically what they were last year. It was laughable they thought they were just going to fix the chase rate issue in the offseason

Lol

I said it before the series, I'll say it f'ing again....keep the bats on the motherf'ing shoulders until 3-0, 3-1...then...take a hack and if miss, put bat back on shoulder and take the walk.

It’s not who they are. Harper and schwarber when locked in are that. Everyone else just isn’t. Hoskins was kind of like that cause he’d see a ton of pitches so he’d at least foul off bad pitches.

theyre going after Soto in free agency and the minors have some pieces to use and move. its not going to be a decade long.

Think there’s a better chance Stott or Bohm is moved than minors players. Bohm is due for an extension at the end of 2026. He’ll be 30. Stott is due at the end of 2027. Miller is taking over one of their spots. Or he’s moving to SS and Turner is taking over 2B. Frankly Bohm has more trade value coming off the season he has. Ricky Bottalico on the radio this morning after the news came out about Bohm being benched alluded to the fact the organization is irritated with his pouting.

Bryce doesn’t swing the bat the first 4 pitches he’s have had a walk that at bat.

That call was BS

my thing with stott and bohm, theyre average players at best, that if the didnt play in Philly, the average Phillie fan, would have no idea who they were. If you can get something for them....id move them in a second.

Well at least the defense showed up

Tend to think Bohm is an above average player. Just not an all star. I think you probably could exchange him and get a solid OF. Stott is likely an average player.

I haven't disliked a Phillies player as much as Stott in a long time

Ump has been brutally bad. But then again Stott doesn’t swing at ball 1 on pitch two he’s not struck out

He's a POS

In the minors they can challenge a pitch. Wish the MLB had that.

That’s not true. Walker is still on this team and exists

Hard to believe I forgot about that guy. He's gone, though.

Holy crap JT. If you have to swing that low don't freaking swing. I hope this team gets swept. Wrong players and wrong approach.

We assume he’s gone. You’d have thought they’d DFA at some point this year and they didn’t.

If im the Mets, theres no reason for me to throw fastballs. im going offspeed all day. Ive never seen a team chase bad pitches as much as this Phillies team does. Im pitching them backwards every at bat.

Going back to Houston that's accurate.

Sanchez is going to get hit at some point. I'm tired of watching this damn team blank out the way they do. Way too much talent. Something is epically wrong with the construction and philosophy.

Yep...knew it was coming

Was listening to the radio this morning, Kevin Cooney talked to a couple mlb scouts that said the Phillies are the easiest lineup to pitch to left in the playoffs cause they swing and chase. Pretty much sums it up.

And they are dead.
