5 years younger Kelce

Kelce is playing as well this year as he ever has in my eyes.  In fact, this may be his very best year.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Lane as well. 2021-2022 he’s been untouchable

Definitely getting All Pro in his later years

Who’s the first guy on the 2022 team to write a book? And will it sell better than Doug’s?

I will guarantee nothing happens in this Super Bowl that necessitates a statue outside the stadium.

Kelce will retire as the greatest TE due to his production and longevity.

But in their prime, not counting anything except their on field ability, Gronk crushes everybody. He just didn’t have the longevity to be considered the goat.

As long as he stays healthy and he continues to have Mahomes throwing to him then he should take the crown.

I agree from a physical perspective that Gronk was in a different league.  But, can you imagine Gonzalez's numbers if he had Tom Brady throwing to him his whole career?

That's the weird part about Foles. Played great for us in 2013 and 2017 but whenever he went somewhere else he ends up being a backup

One of the strangest nfl careers

Jim Plunkett-esque, but on a smaller scale.

Avoided ASU. That place sucks!

Has anyone seen an all-22 breakdown of the play where Purdy gets injured? Curious if the receiver was coming open.

Eh TG sort of lacks TDs for as good as his other numbers are.

TG had 111 TDs in 270 games.

Gronk had 92 in 143.

TG was incredibly durable, and a high volume guy. And that counts for a lot. But he’s no Gronk, Brady or not

Shanny said Aiyuk was wide open for a big play. I haven’t seen it yet tho

Pretty bold and negative stance

Pretty cool to see the field being painted outside before they roll it in.  Those SB logos look huge.

Not bold at all.  How many Super Bowl plays have a statue outside their stadium ??

I stand by my statement... Ertz, Celek and Burton over Goedert, Stoll and Calcaterra.  And not even close.

I'd take 2017 Ertz over 2022 Goedert.  2017 Celek over 2022 Stoll.  2017 Burton over 2022 Calcaterra.   None of the 3 are actually better than their counterpart from the previous year.  Yes, Goedert is a better blocker than Ertz was.  Ertz was a dramatically better receiver than Goedert.  I'd likely take Celek TODAY over Stoll.  Stoll is a JAG.  Nothing special there at all.  Celek was a beast as a blocker and people forget just how good he actually was in the passing game, because he was eclipsed by Ertz.  Celek when he was younger was just as good, if not actually slightly better than Goedert is right now.  And there's just no comparison between Burton and Calcaterra.  There's a reason he was given a big contract as a free agent right after that season.  The shame for him was going to the Bears, followed by the injuries that ended it for him.

I would take 2022 Goedert over 2017 Ertz … they are very close as receivers, but Goedert is the more complete TE

2017 Celek over Stoll

Burton over Calcaterra, but I expect that to flip in the next two years … barring injury to Calcaterra

Doesn't mean it can't or won't happen again

I wonder whether they have breakdowns by Half’s?  The second half of the Eagles game may have seen a steep drop off.

Sounds like you're hanging out with soccer Mike and the boys a little too much. Maybe it's time for @hputenisto put you back in your cage

I've been trying but he snuck into our medicine cabinet, stole a container of Aquaphor and covered himself in it from head to toe.  Now it's like trying to take down a greased pig covered in its own sheet.

I agree better, but not much better.

He was streaky for the Eagles and I don't think he really had a fair chance in either St. Louis or Jacksonville.  I think the question remains whether the Eagles should have moved on from Wentz vs. Foles after the 2018 season.  In retrospect, you can see a really good argument that if they traded him after the 2018 season they would have gotten 2 first round picks and still landed Hurts in the 2020 draft.

Agreed 100% … and he is having more fun as well.
