Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Yea. It’s like the opposite of when JNCO jeans were in style.

Were the 40 inch pant legs ever actually "in style” though?

I think the most important piece of data that eludes fans/media and is available to nfl teams in the draft is the well established relationships and lines of communications between assistant coaches on pro and ncaa teams.

Celebrity ncaa coaches want more first round picks to help with recruiting and will, more or less, give a standardized show of support for everyone.  But the WR coach for Nebraska who is buddies with the Eagles assistant DB coach from their college days is going to tell him the behind the scenes dirt on their star DE…or how someone was held back or propped up by circumstances harder to see from afar.

Some of these things would be un-knowable to even the sharpest eye on tape.  Just candid opinions from assistant coaches who worked with these guys for 3-4 years at their best and their worst.

Wind just really picked up. Like zero to 30 in a flash. Pebble Beach is on my bucket list.

How the heck do you have such a nice looking space when you spend 90% of your life trolling/gaslighting folks on the EMB?

Edit: actually looks like you have a nice family too. Assume they’re all just a bunch of actors.

I actually like Collinsworth but I found that entire sequence to be very poorly done on his part. I remember him saying "I won't even begin"...and then he spends the next three minutes doing exactly that. And Michaels was even worse. It's probably been a year since I watched it fully so I don't remember the actual quotes.

On the other hand, Merrill was clueless too, citing the fact that Ertz caught the ball after it bounced up, which was irrelevant. The Patriots announcers were surprisingly rational. I think the national radio guys had it right too. I believe it was Tony Boselli who nailed it.

I think that actually falls on his producers... they likely got in his ear and said, "We can't have dead air while this review happens."  But, that call was so obvious, it wasn't even funny.  He took 3 full steps and intentionally dove forward to the goal line.  Clement's TD was closer, but as Serratore said on mic during the game, the ball moved as he moved it to 'put it away', but had control the whole time.

Senior Bowl starts in about 15 minutes.

Don’t know how accurate it is but there’s some rumors out here that Mike Kafka as next cardinals HC has picked up some steam.

He made an offense susccessful with major question marks at QB, a logical solution

I just put it on and that wind is nuts.

Any of you PA guys watch this Calijah Kancey guy from Pitt? His stock is heating up.

He's hella undersized for a DT at 6"0 280LBs, but on tape he is a f'in demon on the field.

Would you really be okay with Philly taking 3 RBs by the middle of round 4?

Absolutely

Especially those three.  Charbonnet is a high floor, low ceiling back who has power but lacks breakaway speed.  That is a good description of Blount in 2017.   Kendra Miller is an Ajayi/Sanders type with a higher ceiling than Charbonnet.  I loved what I saw of McIntosh in the College playoffs. Tyjae Spears Is another RB similar to McIntosh who would be a great complement to Gainwell, Charbonnet and Miller.

Kiper mocked him to us at 10. Seems extremely high, but he gets insane production for being that undersized as a iDL

Apparently, he holds up okay on single blocks - but yeah, I’m not sure how much 1.5 gapping you can expect him to do… has to be an attacking 3T or basically a 3rd down specialist here unless JD can make a big leap as a 1T and buttress our 4DL fronts.

Would take either punter in the senior bowl

It was so obvious but it was taking so long that I was worried they were going to somehow overturn it. I still have no idea what took so long.

Such is life, but the NFL really is a good ol' boys club so often...

This is great for the Eagles though.

I like how posting a racist pic allowed me to advance to "starter”

For all of you out there who need a little help getting your wives to get interested in the game, here is a blast from the past that might peak their interest.
