What in the hell is with this photo location? Usually they pose in like a grass field or whatever with bleachers. This looks like they pulled off on the side of the highway and posed for photos behind a desert rest stop.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

"Sharp Football Analysis"...wringing the dishtowel and see what falls into the sink. Then Post it...

I like the Chiefs. They're a good team. If we lose, we lose.

I hope we blow the 49ers out again next year. What a bunch of whiners.

You missed Hargrave, and CJGJ ... and Blankenship is under contract for 3 more years.

I see Epps walking to be replaced by Blankenship, who currently is essentially what Epps was at the end of the 2020 season.

Too early to make any determination about Calcaterra.  I don't see Stoll moving.  However, if Howie does work a lot of trade down magic in the Draft, I could see Luke Musgrave of Oregon State as a BPA selection with one of the additional Round 3 or Round 4 picks Howie accumulates.

Seumalo more than likely moves on.  Lots of unknowns across the O-Line.  Will Kelce return for one more year?  CanJurgens be an effective RG?  Do the Eagles draft a RT of the future and plug him in at RG for the two years until Lane retires?

My post was an overview, not a deep dive, as explained. :Eagle_smiley:

This is Howie's time to shine. He built the Team that's playing Sunday.

He will build the Team that comes to Camp in the spring.

Fun to follow the Eagles these days...:showoff:

Niners following the Saints playbook. Lose, cry, point fingers, cry more.

Love it!

Eagles gonna have to sign someone who becomes available cause our depth just isn’t there. Even if you have mcphearson, jobe and  slay for outside corner. Two with little to no experience and slay is 32. Even if we drafted someone like porter jr, Witherspoon or Gonzalez from Oregon we could use a veteran for depth purposes and challenge for the starting spot.

It is spectacular to have Slay and Bradberry and Maddox ... but it has a downside too.  Players like McPherson and Jobe don't get buch opportunity to play, especially with CJGJ as such a superb experienced option as the slot corner backup.  Bottom-line, I don't think we know what we have or don't have in McPherson and/or Jobe, but I suspect the coaches do.

Regardless, Howie is sure to grab at least one CB in the Draft.  If he resigns Bradberry, that CB may not be until Day 3, with my preference being Julius Brents from Kansas State.  Noah Daniels from TCU has an injury history that will move him deep into the Draft, but he is a CB worth considering.

He's got a great my point. My proposal would be:

1. Teams can sign a 3rd QB, either to the 53 man roster or the practice squad

2. Before the games each week, teams can promote 2 players from the practice squad to the 53 man roster, then after the game they go back to the PS

3. 90 mins before the game starts, NFL teams can list players who will not be dressed and available to play. This is where teams could take advantage of having a 3rd QB.

If/When we win the SB, give us SF in week 1.

Yeah it looks like that will be the matchup given all the crap talking the 49era have done since.  Either that or Cowboya/Giants but I think the 49ers could be a bigger pull.

So Sippos should be good to go on Sunday.  I take it they just don't activate Kern?  I know it's very nitpicky to critique the roster use the week of the SB but why carry Kern if Sippos is good to go...which we were told he was last week.  Couldn't they have played one last roster trick, cut Kern, promote Opeta to the active roster and steal a PS roster spot to sign and protect a player they might like before next year?

I say all of that not knowing the rules of PS once the post season starts and whatnot.  I'm also guessing keeping Kern was 100% insurance in case Sippos had a set back over the last 2 weeks.

I just checked, $8978 for 2 tickets on the terrace level.  If I don't get a hotel room, I can probably do it for under $10,000.

Official 2022 NFL Tenders & Franchise Tag Values

By: Michael Ginnitti | December 29, 2021

With the NFL salary cap for 2022 now largely expected to come in at $208.2M, we'll take a look at what the franchise tag value for each position may cost. The window for teams to designate players with a tag begins February 22nd and runs through March 8th.

  • Right of 1st Refusal: $2,433,000
  • Original Draft Round: $2,540,000
  • 2nd Rounder: $3,986,000
  • 1st Rounder: $5,432,000

Non-Exclusive Franchise Tag Values

  • Quarterback: $29,703,000
  • Running Back: $9,570,000
  • Wide Receiver: $18,419,000
  • Tight End: $10,931,000
  • Offensive Lineman: $16,662,000
  • Defensive Tackle: $17,396,000
  • Defensive End: $17,859,000
  • Linebacker: $18,702,000
  • Cornerback: $17,287,000
  • Safety: $12,911,000
  • Kicker/Punter: $5,220,000

2022 Transition Tag Values

  • Quarterback: $27,186,000
  • Running Back: $8,034,000
  • Wide Receiver: $16,782,000
  • Tight End: $9,392,000

  • Defensive Tackle: $14,716,000

That’s an estimate made even before the season ended in 2021, it actually hit 18.7m$ in 2022, and Smith bumped it up to 20 in 2023

There is one mystery player in the D-Line picture.  Anyone know who that player is?
