The Chiefs may have been the 3rd best team in the AFC this regular season. They lost head to head to both Cincy and Buffalo. They got HFA on a suspended game due to a bizarre injury. Buffalo later crumbled due to injuries and weird Josh Allen hero ball. Cincy later crumbled due to their O-line falling apart. They still barely lost to CK on some iffy calls and a dumb late hit. This does not mean the Chiefs are bad or don't deserve to be in the SB. Both teams last year were not the best of their conference but they won a tournament to get there. The Titans were the 1 seed last year. The Packers were back to back 1 seeds. The 1 seed is not a magic power.

 

The Eagles were the best team in football all year. (or 1 and 1A with the Bills until injuries)

The Chiefs were reported to be in decline after Hill leaving and some had crazy predictions of 9 wins. That was BS but they are not as good as they were. They were fortunate to be at home yet again and to have their competition crumble with injuries through nothing that KC did.

 

FWIW the Chiefs O-line is 4th to 7th best in a league with only 1 great O-line depending on who is ranking them and Philly is that clear #1 with no 2 close to them by every ranking.

The Chiefs have a SB win because they needed Hill to get open deep and he was just ludicrous speed vs SF in 2019. It was the well documented Jet Chip Wasp play. JuJu or MVS can't do that.

Same here.  Those Ray Rhodes teams were the bridge to what the Eagles are today.  Signing guys like Ricky Watters, Guy McEntire, Rhett Hall, Kevin Turner, Greg Jackson, William Fuller went a lot further than just the years they played here.  I think it showed that Lurie was going to spend and bring in the right guys.  Ricky Watters was the first big name signing for them.  Remember going to Lehigh just to see him.

The only black NBA owner is the greatest player in NBA history who is also a Nike billionaire. Grant Hill and Shaq have very small investments in a couple other teams.

Embiid has his issues especially rebounding tonight but he’s the least of my concern.

Harris continues to do what he always does. He’s good for like 6-8 weeks of the season and then is basically useless and overpaid the rest of the time. Thank god he’s an expiring contract this offseason. They aren’t winning crap with him taking up $38 mil. He’s not a championship type player. He never has been.
