Go for it. I’ve gotten a few but sporadically. Everyone thinks Reddick will get 3 sacks, be a terror, FF, and MVP.

Aw man...🤣

OK seriously, Eagles 34-KC 22. Bonus is 180 rushing.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

@LeanMeanGM  Eagles 32 Chiefs 27

BONUS: Eagles recover an onside kick (either theirs or KC’s).

Ted Ngyen is a pretentious tool who writes things like the Eagles run game is the best... but Spags can create chaos. (meaningless)

Here is KC's 2022 record vs the top 12 rush yards per game teams: 1-1   (Buffalo 7th and SF 8th)

Philly was 5th in rushing yards per game including Minshew games and 2nd without Minshew games.  (77 with Minshew 170+ with Hurts)

They have a soft as butter run D who faced a soft as butter run team schedule... but lets pretend Spags is a superhero!

Next is the classic Eagles did not play an elite QB all season.

If there are only 4 elite QBs this year: Hurts, Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen:

KC lost to 2 of the 3 elite QBs they can play and barely won a Burrow rematch on some very bad officiating only because Burrow was missing 3 lineman. (Burrow had an F- O-line in the AFCCG) KC got extra plays to kill clock and Frank Clark got 3 steps after the ball to nail Burrow. The last punt return was a block in the back clinic.

So if those are the elite guys then what this hack should say is:

KC is awful vs elite QBs like Hurts, but I am rooting for KC, and I hope that Philly with the best pass rush, the best corners, plus a safety who led the league in picks in only 12 games played, and the best EPA pass D, and 3rd best QB rating pass D might be too! (magical thinking)

If you want a 5th elite its going to be Lawrence or Goff (3rd top 8 rated season), not Herbert (rated 12, 11, 12 in 3 years) or Geno.

If 9 games is enough of a sample then Purdy was top 5 in stats and record this year.

If winning 8 games and missing all or parts of 8 games is elite than maybe Tua?  He did not play KC or Philly.

  • Cousins had 8 games with 100+ rating and Justin Jefferson,  51.1 vs Philly
  • Goff had 8 games above 100 rating - 80.3 vs Philly
  • Lawrence had 8 games above 100 rating - 84.3 vs Philly
  • Purdy had 5 games above 100 rating in 8 starts. The Eagles broke him.
  • They intercepted Rodgers 2x and knocked him out of the game.
    • Since 2018 Rodgers has started 86 games. He has 2+ picks in 5 of them.
  • Daniel Jones had 7 games above 100 rating and ran for 700+ yards. The Eagles annihilated him twice.
  • Mahomes had 12 games above 100+ rating, Why bother to even play the game since he's unstoppable?

How about that KC D?

  • Herbert had 8 games at 100+ rating, including both KC games.
  • Wilson had 5 games of 100+ rating, including 1 KC game.
  • Carr had 3 games of 100+ rating, including 1 KC game.
  • Burrow had 9 games of 100+, including a 126.6 vs KC with an actual offensive line.
  • Allen had 8 games of 100+ rating, including vs KC.
  • Lawrence had 8 games of 100+, including 1 vs KC
  • Davis Mills is horrific. He had 3 games above 90 rating, including 1 vs KC  (72.9 vs Philly)
  • Malik Willis has no idea how to play NFL QB. He split with Houston and took KC to OT. 👀 Titans ran for 172
  • Brady had a real rough last year with only 4 games above 100+ rating. He was 39-52 for 385 yards 3 TDs and a 114.7 rating vs KC.

Figured that was coming after they traded Kyrie.

CP3, Book, KD, Ayton is quite a lineup.

Yup they have 3 years to try and win a title or multiple titles. I’m assuming this, next and the 24-25 season is their window. If they pull off 1 or 2 that trade is completely worth it to phx. If they manage to not win it in that window then those unprotected 2027 and 2029 picks could really be a tough pill to swallow

Matt Ryan had 4 games above 100 rating this year.... He had 100+ and beat KC!

They will never win a title with that clown.

At least the Nets still have Ben Simmons?  When he bothers to play?

They may as well trade Seth Curry back to Philly now.

Maybe not for long lol

Any GM crazy enough to trade for Simmons should be blocked by the owner and immediately fired.

Pretty cool thread. Long and Allen weren’t here for long, but they are definitely Philly guys.

Gotta imagine the nets are making other deals before the deadline. They legit have like 5-6 wings. Have Finney-Smith, bridges, cam Johnson, cam Thomas, Simmons, Royce oneale. I’d love to have bridges or Finney-Smith but the nets aren’t gonna trade either of those two. I’d actually try to shoot for curry. If joe Harris wasn’t making a crapload of money I’d take a chance but not with that contract nor what it’s take to match to make it work.

Wow Durant traded.  Must suck to be a Nets fan.  Destroyed their franchise two different times to build big threes both times that turned into complete and total disasters.

Since she misses clearly the D, I wonder if I can get her to fly me out and get me tickets. 😂

Chris Long is a guy I would have loved to be a life long Eagle.  Big fan of his at UVA, hated when the Rams drafted him.  They were past their show on turf days but I still had a sour taste in my mouth from the Rams and their early 2000s success.  So glad to see how much he's embraced Philly and vice versa.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles - 31, Chiefs - 17

Bonus:

SB MVP: Devonte Smith

This game can't get here soon enough.

2 nights ago I dreamt of a slow start and a Jalen Hurts fumble, but we came back to win.

Last night I dreamt that Jason Kelce was just out mauling people during the game, but then announced he was retiring after we won.

This is a classy move.

Taking away from SB week by having a bunch of coach hire stuff in the SB city would be lame.

It’s not classy, no one wants the job and they are scrambling.

I wonder if this time next year we see the slimmed-down Kelce... I'd say sans beard, but he might then be able to wander the streets of Philadelphia unrecognized.

Nah, that big Green Mummers hat will give him away...

It is also a level playing field for evaluating the prospects.  Separate Pro Day venues don't provide that level playing field.

The Combine is a huge marketing coup for the league as well. Money, money, money

How much revenue does the combine raise for the NFL and the host city?  I'm not sure the NFLPA would be happy if there was less cap space because NFL revenues took a hit,

^ Don't get me wrong I am excited as F for this Sunday, but SB52 felt like manifest destiny. This seems more like taking care of business.

For me, SB52 was big for the Eagles and the fans. The lack of a Lombardi put a certain perception on the org and city - losers and chokers.. Now it's different  I don't think anyone is less passionate, but it's a feeling of, it's not new to us, let's do the business, we're good enough to win this

There was also the big bad Tom Brady factor.  Outside of Eli Manning, TB was invincible in the SB.  Beating TB, BB and the vaunted Patriots was a huge obstable to overcome too.

Yes, Mahomes is great and the AR connection is a good story but this Chiefs team shoudln't be feared by any means.  The Eagles have the better team.  They should win and I hope Hurts has his best game of his career so he can finally let loose, relax and enjoy the victory with his teammates.

People in this blog trying to bend over backwards these past two weeks to try to devalue this Super Bowl and act like it doesn't mean as much.  Can't say I'm surprised.
