Both posters openly admitted that their intentions were to call people out and humiliate them. They would spend up to 16 hours a day in the blog actively looking for people to harass. There should not be space in the blog for such low EQ's.

These 3 along with Lane and Peters have been a staple of the Eagles for a generation, gonna be hard to watch them go.

Ill for sure only be talking about eagles football tomorrow.

But today, maybe we can still have 4for4 and DUM back to experience it with is. 

Maybe at some point, someone in charge will listen to the people who they built and moderate this for.

This system of moderation worked on the old board with a TON of members, and a bunch more mods. It doesnt work on a fan funded board with few members, and 1 all powerful mod. 

A community this small should not be cannibalizing itself. Especially not with the help of the mods. A functional moderation system would prevent that. Not accelerate the process.

What is this side?  Do I apparently have some group of posts at my command that I'm not even aware of?  You're part of a group that legitimately "plans" coordinated trolls and all act as one mob of people jumping on anyone that they disagree with.  I'm not doing that.  I don't see anyone else doing that.  If you want to say you don't do that then you have to at least see what they do.  It's impossible not to notice.

For seemingly no reason at all, they relentlessly attacked a group of the last few remaining originals, and now just about all are gone.

JRs (and plenty of others) knowledge and break downs are not replaceable. They all  have more knowledge about football in their little finger than I have in total. It’s why I became so enthralled with this blog  25 years ago.

Attacking them was disgusting. They seemed to just do it for fun, because they could. The ones who did that were / are the problem. Period.

The tone has worsened because the quality of poster thats been allowed in has worsened.  You cant have discussions with these people because when you tell them they are wrong they get offended and begin trolling, and have you suspended when the mods get tired of seeing all of their reports. In the old blog, when people were told they were wrong, they either agreed to disagree, or thanked the person for correcting them and appreciated that theyd learned something.

FWIW this had died down.

A mod came in with a friendly reminder of normal adult behavior and provided an avenue for those who don't want normal adult behavior. (RnR)

This apparently caused 1 person to lash out at the mod and others and lots of people reacted to that.

A rules question was asked. A rule was provided. Teeth were gnashed. Confusion abounded.

I'm guessing it dies down again unless someone else (or the same someone) tries to stir the pot again

And you can not continue to ignore the troll job that was done in return to them. They only got angrier and angrier when their football opinions were ignored with a race baiting response.  were called racists, repeatedly. And eventually were told by one mod that, that would be acceptable.

They had no recourse. So they grew bolder. 

Failed system. And many of you continue to ignore the behavior of their targets, who became targets for good reason.

I miss JRs posts.

It's not like him and I were close on the board but he had a lot of football knowledge and I valued his posts 

I used to spend the majority of my EMB time  in 411 but after Procus left☹️ ,another OG it wasn't the same.

Which is when I started frequenting the blog and as stated witnessed same said attacks which I agree is the problem.

Hopefully things will change for the better after eagles win it all tomorrow

Im not part of that group, although Ive been lumped in with them numerous times by yourself and others on your side. Part of the difficulty or sorting out this conflated mess. Some of you dont even know who you are angry at anymore and for what.

They had plenty of recourse. They chose to continue to troll and harass. You want to gloss over that. You act they were forced to act out...that's an unrealistic take.
