One of my faves is Michters from PA.  I like all their stuff (they have several).  Very affordable and easy to find.

My buddy used to be in Groundlings or Acme in LA or some other improv group and the guy that played the Gimp was in the same troupe.

Yeah, you seem like a guy with multiple accounts with an axe to grind. You aren't a mod so leave the banning issues to them.

Some good whiskeys that will not break the bank but are smooth are Woodford reserve, knob creek, makers mark. Eventually you can just add some rocks once you acquire the taste but until then, do a 50/50 mix with some Coke and ice.
