1.  Mahomes

2.  Burrow

3.  Herbert

4.  Allen

5.  Hurts

 

It's a somewhat tricky discussion because supporting cast means so much.  Herbert is betrayed by horrid coaching and WRs who are in and out of the lineup.

I don't think its disrespectful. As of right now I have Herbert over Hurts. Hurts has really only had 1 great year, while Herbert has had 3, although with no playoff success. Hurts could surpass him next week.

I don't watch enough of other teams anymore to have a good aspect IMO. Also even though I asked for it... coming up with a top 5 is very difficult for me lol

Because Herbert is basically just a big arm stat compiler to me.  He doesnt make the winning plays, I dont see the leadership it takes.  That stuff does actually matter when you're parsing the top handful of QBs in the league.   Plus we just saw his team crap their pants.

Lawrence, he really didnt play well down the stretch save that onr half.  Again, just the consistency isnt there.  Great tools, but he'll miss a bunch of dump offs and it makes you wonder what the hell is going on.

And it's true that Burrows has some weapons.  Chase for Cincy and Kelce for KC.  Beyond that, yeah Cincy probably has the edge.  But man, Burrow is just IT.  Hes got it, and if hes gone that whole team would collapse

There's just too many playmakers on offense for everyone to get a fair amount. Which is awesome lol

WRs all want the ball. It's not news. AJ Brown was blocking very well, so it didn't affect his focus.

CJG is going to have his work cut out for him Sunday.  He is going to have matchups against Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk and even McCafferey.  The success of the defense is going to hinge on the pass rush and CJG.

Pretty sure Brown hasn’t been 100% in a few weeks.  He’s a tough player and probably has been playing through some "tweaks/nagging/smaller injuries” etc.

I'd hope not, unless he's actually winning his matchups. Its the NFCCG, now's not the time to be concerned about someone's feelings. 

I'm not sure how much they have Ward follow someone but he's a good corner. Whoever is matched up with Lenoir should be getting the targets.

And if you took away Mahomes, you don’t think KC would collapse? 
 

I know you struggle with advanced stats, but the year Mahomes just posted is beyond absurd when looking at the weapons he has. It’s frankly not even a debate between Mahomes and anybody else. 5 straight AFCCG too. Are you just being a contrarian?
