I don't think they quite optimized the production of the frozen/cardboard pizza by that point, so when you went to PizzaHut you might actually get 'fresh' pizza.  I remember the pizza being good there back then - but then again my kids like the Chucky Cheese pizza now, so kids in general might have bad taste.

My kids have a tough time deciding between shake shack and mcdonalds when I offer to take them out for cheeseburgers. So yeah, you might on to something there.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

It’s about accumulation and recovery. Fatigued muscles increase injury risk.

We also rest people throughout the season.

But does rest and what not do anything for ligaments? I don’t remember exactly how the routine was in 2017, although Doug at some point started the rest days.  But we had:

Sproles: ACL

Wentz: ACL

Peters: ACL

Hicks: Achilles

Maragos: PCL or MCL

The fact the only guy who seriously tore anything being Barnett feels like extremely good luck.

Yup, Watkins took that one back for a long TD in preseason and then never did anything again on a screen.

Paschal has been getting more snaps lately taking away from Watkins.

I had high hopes for Watkins this year thought he could really do something as the 3rd WR but save a few big plays here and there and a few blunders he's been a disappointment this year.

Paschal doesn't threaten the deep 3rd like Watkins but he's a physical receiver and won't get punked by a DB on a 7 yard curl route, and he's a much better blocker.

SF is a bit vulnerable deep, so this might be Quez' week to make a memorable play.

Also, Paschal was a Kentucky DE drafted by DET that I wanted for the BG role.

Yeah probably not lol.

Question is what's up with that0.1%🤷‍♂️

Maybe a few really old dudes just learning about the internet for the first time.

I'm fine with whatever the mods go with since it's a pretty minor issue all things considered. On the other hand, I suppose "OP is a bundle of sticks" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Yup pizza hut when I was a kid was like a special night out, Mrs PAC man and red cups...

When I was a teenager we used to get little Caesars every Friday night, Buy one get one free in that big long rectangle box, we got a bloody band aid in our box once and never went back to that location.

When I lived in New NZ back in the 90s they had a pizza hut restaurant buffet, it was right on a lake front and was fancy inside, people would wear like dress shirts to go to pizza hut, it was a big deal😄

We still get Cesar's occasionally it's cheap and fast and the kids love it.

But I agree if I'm really in the mood for pizza I'd rather go to a sit down place and get a good one, or make my own.

I've been thinking about this for awhile now but haven't really been able to articulate it properly in my mind. There's just no way that a loss this weekend will be as devastating to me as the earlier championship game losses. Granted I'll be disappointed...severely...but it won't be that gut-wrenching devastation that came with those previous ones because of that feeling then of "Are we EVER going to win a Super Bowl?" We already have. We've earned our seat in the lunch room with the cool kids.

Yes exactly. We can go to our graves with that one on the top of the bucket list ticked as completed.

I don't know about you guys but I feel like goedirt set the tone with that brutal stiff arm early in the game vs giants

SF is a bit susceptible to the deep ball so maybe Watkins gets a shot or two.

I always go back to the Tampa Bay playoff game last year where if hurts could have gotten him the ball Watkins goes for over 200.

All those shots now are going to brown and Smith which is fine but has limited the amount of shots Watkins gets.

I think he's had one big play on the outside this year that went for a TD.

Rest of his few big catches have been down the seem or deep middle, including the fumble...😒

But if he can get loose against SF it's just one more thing defenses have to worry about

Someone needs to make a gif of that stiff arm.

Lol yeah.

There's no pizza in jail

Same 5 meals every week.

One of them I think it was Wednesday we called Rhino nut, it was just a big greasy mystery meat ball. With some instant taters and if I remember right mushy collard greens.

I remember my first couple weeks I couldn't eat the food and I was trading whole trays away for like a little carton of milk

A month in I was scarfing down my rhino nut in record time.

So I think it won't be as depressing as other Championship losses but more irritating/disappointing all things considered.

Not sure it could top the disappointment of that 2002 loss to Tampa that shut down the Vet

Just brutal brutal loss.

Yup, it was more like a left hook than a stiff arm, nasty shot by goedert.💪

Hypothetically, if one of these games were to go to overtime, with the new rules would you kickoff or receive? To me, it would depend on how the offense and defense looks heading into overtime. Curious how teams will play it if it happens.

Was there, f'ing cold, partying in the lot by the old Holiday Inn.  Girls flashing us from our rooms, getting hammered, go to the game, sitting in the 600 level....we score immediately....WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!  Wish it could have stopped right there but nooooooo!  Reid forgot how to beat the Tampa Cover 2....he passed, and passed and passed some more when we f'ing beat them over and over again by running first.  And the crowd sucked!  My buddy and I were imploring people to get up, make some noise and literally they would turn around and tell us to sit down.

Pizza hut is trash, little Caesars is where it's at, best value for pizza in America

Used to love the Hut but they've gone way down in quality the last few years and it's always disappointing.

Having said that the first Pizza Hut was formed on Wichita St. Campus by a couple college kids, the original building is still on campus, though not working building.

Gotta be a local joint (or make your own), all those chained pizza joints are nasty. It took me a year to find a good place after I moved.

Speaking Jason Peters, was anyone else as shocked as I was to see him miss the Cowboys game on Sunday with an injury? I didn’t see that coming at all.

He played very physical whenever he had the ball.

Yeah but this message board isn’t owned by, sponsored by nor supported by a corporate entertainment industry anymore.  I would suggest as a part of any tinkers getting done as part of the excellent work of @VaBeach_Eagleand the other IT gurus that perhaps it is time to remove most of those PG censorship filters.  Don’t think we have any impressionable children on these boards.  Think of this as being like the Kelce brothers Podcast or Chris Long’s. If they can use the words, then so should we be able to do so. The irony is the use of "locker room talk” for most of the terms the censoring IT masks.

I'm open to the discussion and decision, whichever way it may be made. I'd invite @Moderator12 @Moderator6 @Moderator4 @Moderator2 and  @Moderator5 to give their thoughts, if they'd wish to chime in.

I think the filters should be removed. One reason is because it's annoying having to either edit a meme or put it in spoiler because it has a curse word in it lol

There are message boards that have adult content in 1 section that doesn't leak or get spread to other sections. It's not impossible to keep it in one place. But I gave up on that request

I don't have sympathy for anyone on the site at work or on their work computer and wanting it to be clean so they don't get in trouble 🤷‍♂️

You'd be surprised that people can still have normal conversations without using or seeing the F word everywhere even when there are no censors. Will you see it occasionally? Yes but that's life as well lol

If it doesn't do impact the adsense or anything then why not

I’d rather get the ball second. That way you know what you need. Same principle as in baseball when the home team bats last.
