Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Did you watch the game, it was shown on live TV, and the announcers talked about it.

Siriani was over talking to him as the announcers talked about it.

Everyone saw it, @Outlaw @4for4EaglesNest @LeanMeanGM @TorontoEagle

Last time and I'm done posting about it.  There is no established connection between the pouting and not getting the ball.  That may have been the reason but there isn't any direct connection in any of the material anyone has posted in here over the last few pages.  In this case, no way the announcers could know.

It could have been not getting targeted, it could have been frustration over tweaking an ankle/hammy, or it could have been something else entirely.

In any case, the look wasn't good.  We can agree to that.

So him putting his head down (likely hurt) and likely saying he wanted to be more involved in the game is pouting?

If that’s the case, I’m fine with it.  Nothing wrong with what he did during the game or what he said in the interview posted today.

I’ll say this to any genuine Eagles’ fan that wants this team to win and win for a long time.

The reason we failed to win a Super Bowl (or multiple Super Bowls) under Reid/McNabb is because we sent T.O. packing.

Don’t make the same mistake twice.  The vast majority of the top WR’s in the game want the ball.  That’s nothing new.  And if ever so often they express frustration and I mean this whole heartedly:

Lacking a #1 WR in general IMO. Only time we had one, we got to the SB.

Not sure what you mean. The question asked to Nick was word for word "Hey Nick, I wanted to ask you about AJ Brown, At the end of the game it looked like he was frustrated on the sideline and you went over and talked to him. It also appeared as maybe he tweaked something late in the game, can you shed some light on this?"

And that was his answer, about wanting the ball.

I didn't say I wasn't fine with it, and I pushed back on Monday against folks saying it was targets, and I said it was probably related to his hammy.

Regardless, people keep asking when this happened, like it didn't. It happened right here and the announcers talked about it.

And they went back to him after this, and he was sitting alone and looked pretty darn peeved.

Why wasnt our great leader Jalen there to reel AJ in?

Yep.  Like I said, nothing wrong with his behavior during the game.  Certainly not from that clip.

I mean, he's literally compared it to the T.O. situation.

Well, in that case it is premature. I do think Brown has Diva tendencies when you take into consideration this, the Saints game and his social media. I don't think it's out of the question this could eventually become a problem but it's not anywhere close to TO currently.

Because AJ didn’t need to be "reeled in”.  ;)

Oh no I bet AJ asks for a new contract this offseason and does sit-ups in his driveway

Someone needs to hunt down and get rid of Drew Rosenhaus before he gives him any ideas.

All the people disliking AJ Brown want to go back to the Chip Kelly days, where he'd sign unathletic guys who "played the right way".

As much as I want AJ to go off next game and he's highly capable of doing so, I said it going into the game last week and I'll say it again for this one: DeVonta Smith is the big game, big moment, rise to the occasion player on this team. He did it throughout his entire college career on the biggest stage in Alabama and he came through big for them last week. He thrives in these types of situations and anyone who doubts that, go put on the first half from the National Title game against Ohio State, the playoff that season against Notre Dame, or his game-winning catch against Georgia for the title in 2018 . He is a killer.

But he wasnt there to cheer him up. Didnt ask if he was okay. Jalen better not get cheap on us and his team.

false dichotomy.

Yea, I don't think anyone is saying this is some massive problem or anything. It's just not a good look in the situation. And if it's a showing now, how's it going to be in the future when there is more adversity assuming the team isn't as strong as it is now.

...and yet the NBC article talking about the exact same Sirianni comments based on the same question started with Nick talking about the injury.

We're fine his agent is some guy named Dandy. Totally not intimidating.

Tory Dandy, sounds like a stripper name.

So you wouldn't want George Kittle, Chase, Tyreek Hill, etc.

I'm not defending the NBC article, I didn't even read it. I just grabbed the quote because it was already typed out for me. I listened to the PC. It's the very first question. He starts talking about going through something with his body first as to why he wasn't in the game. Then says "as far as that first part of that question" and then goes on about frustration.

To be clear- we all want a great WR who WANTS THE BALL on every play.

Some of us want that WR to also understand maybe he should not be upset during a blowout win in the playoffs because he didn't get the ball thrown to him enough?

Like is that really asking too much? Like maybe he should just celebrate and wait for the following week where we are likely going to need a monster day from him to go to the Superbowl?

I dunno- football is a team sport.

Here is the clip, listen to the announcers.

The announcers: "[We don't know] if it's frustration or if Sirianni  noticed any of him uh getting up slowly and just checking in on him."
