I'm not defending the NBC article, I didn't even read it. I just grabbed the quote because it was already typed out for me. I listened to the PC. It's the very first question. He starts talking about going through something with his body first as to why he wasn't in the game. Then says "as far as that first part of that question" and then goes on about frustration.

Ok, I'll listen...

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

So you wouldn't want George Kittle, Chase, Tyreek Hill, etc.

Ill wait till you show me an instance of Kilttle/ Jamar Chase pouting on the sideline during a blow out win against a division rival in the divisional rd of the playoffs.

Wait no I wont because it doesn't exist.

Did you watch the game, it was shown on live TV, and the announcers talked about it.

Siriani was over talking to him as the announcers talked about it.

Everyone saw it, @Outlaw @4for4EaglesNest @LeanMeanGM @TorontoEagle

Here is the clip, listen to the announcers.

The announcers: "[We don't know] if it's frustration or if Sirianni  noticed any of him uh getting up slowly and just checking in on him."

we did notice not one person from the medical staff checked on him, if he was hurt, they would have checked him out.

RUH ROH

Gonna be hard to Keep Brown Happy unless we are Feeding him the ball

You are creating something from nothing. There is no there there.

I also think the injury angle is overblown. I wasn't at the game so maybe I missed it but if something was wrong he'd have trainers all over him, not sitting by himself.

DUDE- I am not creating anything- I am just pointing it out. It exists. You choose to wear blinders.

OK then then

Ben Simmons sucks. Will she play tonight?

Weren’t at the game eh? Well then who’s the guy who looks just like Julian Laurie who I met in a portapotty outside xfinity? Gave me two tickets for….stuff?

I am just happy we finally have a WR worthy of being a Diva.

As long as he doesn’t turn into a lockeroom cancer like TO, demand the ball all you want.

The run defense has not been great this year, even with the addition of Suh and Joseph.

9 games w/o Suh and Joseph: 124.7 rushing yards per game

9 games w/ Suh and Joseph: 118 rushing yards per game

Not much of a difference there.

I had a similar thought also. Was comparing it to both the 1st match up with the cowboys with cooper rush and the titans game.

Birds didn't have a whole lot of yards in the 1st cowboys game, but they were very well balanced. And like you said with the titans, Birds barely ran because they were just throwing bombs like it was nothing.

Our rush defense DVOA was 28th prior to signing Joseph/Suh. From that point on it was 15th. It improved significantly.

Ok, that was way clearer than any of the tweets or articles.  Not a great look but still nearly a nothing burger in my eyes.  Make a note but nothing to be concerned with at this point.

and it's a non-issue unless the player starts to fracture the locker room.  That isn't the case here.

Walter Payton sulked in his locker AFTER the Bears won the Super Bowl in a blowout, because he didn't get to score a TD.  It's a non-issue

And we gave up some chunk run plays to QB's in the Bears and Giants game skewing the second half yards per game.  Against RB's, they have been night and day better since signing Suh and Joseph.

Wasn’t Devonta Smith pissed off after a win because he wasn’t targeted? This isn’t a big deal.

Agreed- but thats today.  He was visibly unhappy on the sideline Saturday night - even though- the team was blowing out a division rival in a divisional playoff game

Sorry That is a concern going fwd. to me. Because it can be a distraction. I dont need Hurts forcing the ball to Brown if there were/are better options. I need Hurts making the best decisions for the team and not whats best for Brown.

Regarding your bolded sentence, we all worry about something. AJ happens to be your cross to bear.  I worry about interior O-line play.  It’s our respective cross to bear.

Teddy Bruschi turned to the light side!

Maddox was a limited participant, eh? That’s good.

Tim McManus just said Maddox has a good chance to play this week. Wow!

The @TorontoEagle things I learned today, downundermike edition.

I learned today, that unless you are a 100% blind Eagles homer with their head in the sand then you are just a contrarian for the sake of being one.

I learned today, that we are all supposed to have the same opinion, thus negating the need for a discussion board.

Let's go!

Maddox at NB & CGJ at S > CGJ at CB & Blankenship at S. This also means we can take Kyzir off the field on 2nd and 10/3rd and long.

As much as I want AJ to go off next game and he's highly capable of doing so, I said it going into the game last week and I'll say it again for this one: DeVonta Smith is the big game, big moment, rise to the occasion player on this team. He did it throughout his entire college career on the biggest stage in Alabama and he came through big for them last week. He thrives in these types of situations and anyone who doubts that, go put on the first half from the National Title game against Ohio State, the playoff that season against Notre Dame, or his game-winning catch against Georgia for the title in 2018 . He is a killer.

He should benefit greatly in his mid routes if we can get the D to drop back a bit with some go routes. Open up some space for Devonta to run his crisp routes and get open

Your head is in the sand.  He showed frustration.  Both he and NS acknowledged that it was about targets and a possible injury.

Sitting on the bench pouting isn't complaining.  Showing frustration isn't complaining either.
