The butt hurt excuses from 49ers fans all night is too much!  Basically they lost because of Smith’s catch and unfair penalties!  Oh and because Purdy could t play.  Leaving out the fact that our TENACIOUS DAMN D LINE took them outback and delivered the punishment that took him and his replacement out!   Hungry dawgs feed a baby and the Eagles feasted!

Our D line has stepped up in the playoffs and made life brutal for opposing QBs.  Reddick was amazing last night she Suh’s big sack was huge.

I would have preferred that Purdy played all game long.  That dude didn’t scare me.

I gotta be honest, Hurts' accuracy was really really bad in this game, I really hope that we don't see the same thing in 2 weeks, cause that game is probably gonna be a shootout.

Yeah, agreed.  He did not look good.  I saw regression a bit.  The dancing in the pocket, hesitance, and poor throws were very disturbing.  He’s better than that.

Empire State Building lights up in Eagles colors after NFC championship game win, angering New Yorkers everywhere | Sporting News

I know the media is all over Mahomes jock, but I think fans across the leave have hit a critical point of "Chiefs fatigue.”  People are sick of KC being there every year the same way they were with the Patriots, even if the Chiefs have only actually gotten one ring out of it so far.

Reddick deserves a MVP for yesterday game.  His plays changes the game and set the tone.  Defense was the determining factor yesterday. The offense contributed 4 rushing TDs, while the passing game was below par.  Hurts' missed some of the long passes to Brown.  He needs to work on that for the SB and bring the whole offensive arsenal to the game.

I don't think I've ever seen a game unfold this this one did.  The 49ers were physically and emotionally destroyed by halftime.  They could literally do nothing but limp through the second half to get to the end of the game.  Unbelievable.

It was painfully obvious by the 3rd quarter that this game was over already and that the 49ers might possibly score another TD but there was no way they were coming back to win.

Why is nobody talking about how 'genius' Kyle Shanahan's scheme injured 4 QBs?  Maybe put somebody on Reddick to make sure you can keep your QB upright?

49ers were down 2 TDs by halftime, and they didn't have a QB who could throw more than 5 yards downfield. Game over. There was nothing they could do but watch the time tick away. I actually felt bad for them.

Something else I've been thinking about: who's last game is in 2 weeks?

Probably: Suh, Joseph?

Maybe: Cox, BG, Kelce, Lane?

Kelce's said on the record that he's not thinking about retirement so I think I put his odds pretty low.

Lane has said he's thinking of retirement in a season or 2.  Would a SB change that timeline?

Losers of the week: Kyle Shanahan and Tavarius Moore.

This chump's priority was a cheap shot flip on the sidelines of Jobe on a special teams play and he flipped him right into Bosa, getting him injured.

Its the perfect play for a loser thug team like the 49ers.

Shanahan got his QB injured by having a back up TE try to solo block Haasan Riddick. What an idiot.

They’re awful. They were sooo arrogant last week. Now it’s excuses, crying, and trying to make themselves feel better by saying the eagles will lose in the Super Bowl, anyway.

The 49ers were all like Meaney and the Eagles were Bobby Boucher, opening a can a whoop ass.

No, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson wasn't false starting vs. 49ers

Let's debunk the internet's Lane Johnson conspiracy theory originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia

The Eagles were so dominant Sunday afternoon against the 49ers that some football fans and analysts are scrambling for explanations.

One that has bubbled up to the surface of the cesspool that is the internet: Lane Johnson was constantly false starting vs. San Francisco.

Yes, seriously.

Former Eagles linebacker and current tepid take artist Emmanuel Acho asked the question on Twitter:

An ultra slow-mo video from some whiny Giants fan racked up a cool 330,000 views:

And if you scroll through the comments (I'd warn against it, but live your life) you'll find football fans agreeing with the assessment.

Except... it's not a penalty. It just looks like one when you slow a video all the way down, which is not how the referees are seeing it and not how it's actually happening in real life.

"Watch Kelce start to squeeze and slide the ball. They're simultaneous. Some guys just have a fast-twitch. The ball's definitely moving, and Lane's moving at the same time."

Just because something looks like a penalty in ultra slow-motion doesn't mean it's actually a penalty, particularly when the referees are judging it in real time.

Don't you think opposing players would be losing their minds if they thought a guy was getting away with something on every single snap? They're not. Micah Parsons, who had to go against Johnson twice this season, spent Sunday night praising him to high heaven for his performance.

And don't you think we'd see these guys get dinged with a flag every once in a while if they were regularly false starting? Johnson was flagged twice across 974 snaps this season. Doesn't seem like referees view this fast get-off as a problem, which means it's not a problem.

Salty fans will stay salty, so this likely isn't the last you'll hear of these complaints. But it's a nothing-burger. We're on to the Super Bowl.

I have a challenge for anyone on the Devonta Smith catch.

Show me a frame where the ball hits the ground.

I know it came loose but I can't see it actually touch the ground.

This is not a clear case of a bad call. It may have even been the correct call. It probably had a 70% chance of standing as inconclusive.

The refs don't have to see it come loose. They have to see it hit the ground to overturn the call on the field.

EDIT: I was wrong. It does hit the ground.

Don't have to.  It was shown on TV, and most sane Eagles fans that saw it agree it was not a catch.

The fact that Devonta himself was the first one trying to rush the next play tells you all you need to know.

Also, the 2 worst calls in the game both went against the Eagles.

The punt hit the wire. That a ref does not watch the ball on the punt is insanity. Everyone on the Eagles sideline saw it. A ref looking at the ball would have seen it.

The ball dramatically changed spin in mid-air. That was something like a 35 yard screw up.

Next, the fumble return on the Purdy injury.  Joseph could have scored there or at least got them enough yards that the drive led to points. The refs have been told time and time again to not blow the whistle there and to fix it on review. They blew the whistle anyway.

But I know you won't let it go, so here you go.

No, everyone agrees that it was bobbled.

If you are so certain then get me a frame with the ball on the ground, fake tough guy.
