A lot of teams like to run 12 personnel? I agree that it seems rather excessive. Atlanta just traded for and took on Jonnu Smith's contract when they already have a young stud TE who they used a top 5 pick on and barely use.

It started with the faulty supposition that posters have a problem with Hurts getting paid.  I'm not in here all the time, but I've yet to see more than one poster (I won't identify by name) who has suggested the Eagles would be better off by trading Hurts rather than paying him.

Hurts will get an extension, somewhere in the range of $48-50M per year AAV -- everyone should pretty much know that by now.  Once the deal is made official, I guess we will see who is most upset about it.

Interesting the Eagles added a nickel coach before a passing game coordinator. 

Granted Rallis left before Wilson but a little voice wants me to believe that interviewing so many LB coach candidates means Howie and Nick may be flicking the switch on valuing LBs. Especially after losing in the playoffs to defenses with superior LBs the last two years and seeing the 49er LBs slow down their defense so much and what LVE did to their running game.
