I tend to think teams didn’t attack bradberry or slay as much as they rather attack the middle of the field where Epps and the linebackers were.

It's just procedural. It's called an "option" bonus but it's fully guaranteed and must be exercised, so there really is no option. Spotrac and OTC have always been showing the after affects of them exercising these options. I believe @MillerTime asked Jason from OTC who confirmed. 

It's just a way for Howie to structure it to spread out cap hits.

I think he's a decent back up in a position where you need depth.  He's also played well enough on special teams.  I don't think he's going to garner a starting spot on another club.

He was nice on ST but again, Jobe showed more at the end of last season at outside CB and it seems the coaches are higher on him.  You know they are going to draft a CB.  They still might add a veteran.  Just seems like the odd man out.

I really hope this ends super poorly for the jets. I don’t even hate the jets but they really deserve it too by allowing this crap with rodgers to turn into a circus
