Most of the pro Harris and anti-Trump ads were so bad you could put them on the Babylon Bee. They were so incredibly bad I genuinely couldn’t tell if some were spoofs of a Democrat ad. The one with the black guy dating the black woman and she walks out when he doesn’t vote the "right” way? If there’s one thing I know about black men, it’s that they like being told what to do! The ad with the guys talking about carburetors and drinking cask strength bourbon? I actually DO drink hundred dollar bottles of cask strength liquid gold. It was laughable — they somehow targeted blue color men with a niche luxury item only consumed by yuppies and collectors. The ad about the GOP banning porn? "Hey young men, I know you are such pathetic losers that the only glimmer of joy in your miserable existence is yanking it to some skank charging you $9.99 per month — we won’t help you but the GOP will make you switch to the sears catalogue!” What in the actual F was this? I genuinely wonder if there was a single straight guy in the entire Democrat apparatus? Every ad was like a caricature of what women and gay dudes think a straight guy might be like. Lots of people had to view these things! People were paid to write, direct and act in them! Someone approved millions of dollars to spend on them!

They must show different ads in different areas based on what they think will work with different voters. I didn't see any of those. They do sound bad.

Well apparently there are two classmates that are transgender therians (formerly girls now identify as boys/cats) that have been granted permission to use the boy's room. They're not full furries because of the dress code violations. Personally I would have made them use a litter box, but that's just me. I can't help but laugh as my son tells me this crap. It's friggin sad. When I was a kid, they were called tomboys. When I became an adult, most of them got married and started families.

The most effective ads of the entire cycle were by far the "They/them" ones. The visuals alone. You can talk about the text in project 2025 all you want but when you're competing against ads with that bald guy in a red dress and lipstick you have no shot.

November 12, 20241 yr "What the @ss?" And anonymous donations, or so-called "dark money,” also benefited Harris at a faster and more substantial clip than Trump thanks to lax federal laws that progressives often criticize but, nonetheless, exploited in 2024.

What do you mean the supporting actor kid from Wonder Years didn’t grow up to be Marilyn Manson who had a rib removed to be able to auto fellate? Also check out this sick S I drew.

November 12, 20241 yr IDK I thought the "I’m your Republican congressman” ones were Fn hilarious. That first one was lame AF tho.

I mean they were funny, but not in the way intended. I also find it hilarious that the "I’m your Republican congressman” line got more traction with right wing trolls saying "your body, my choice” than it did with any election voting.

Yeah, but real life isn’t 4chan trollery. It’s funny when they convince people that their new iPhone can be charged by nuking it in the microwave. It’s not so much when women are being told that ish. It’s like if you imagined how Neckbeard McIncelBetaSoyBoy would try and troll. Just comes off as some cringe ish.

And yes, I do trust my boy and all players on my team. I'm just saying they exist and I find it funny. Not that it's a pandemic. And for future reference, calling someones kid a liar is a dick move. Kid is in advanced classes and does very well in school and is as honest as them come. I didn't call your kid a liar, Sir Queefsalot. They probably just took a rumor they heard at face value and relayed it to you. Smart kids aren't immune to rumors, and when you get a bunch of kids together in a social setting they tend to tell each other stories that turn into rumors that eventually bear very little resemblance to the actual truth.

It might be techincally true in most cases (because of the toilet bowl design), but it has nothing to do with the actual equator, if I'm remembering the mythbusters episode right.

The whole Marilyn Manson thing was the only one we pretty much had. Well, other than my friend group being convinced that they had invented "The Game” and everyone else copied them. The only other one I can think of is when we are all in early middle school and thought that the M1 Garand could be both clip and magazine fed because why else would Upham be carrying all those belts of ammo.

It screams of what a bunch of blue hairs would believe would resonate with blue collar men. Backfired horrifically. Ultimately at the end of the day I’m just mad that, instead of being born so that I could fight the British, slave owners, or the Germans, I got to live in a repeat of late 19th century politics, only now instead of The New York World/Herald, it’s social media.
