This loss goes back to the trade deadline, where if they would have added instead of trying to duck the tax, they would’ve had enough to get themselves over the top. This loss particularly displays that.

This is how other NFL franchises feel or how Eagles fans pre Lurie felt during the POS who owned them in the late 80s. All that cheap SOB had to do was pay the tax and keep the kid. All the GM had to do was have stones to say F that we need him.

I blame Harris more than I blame Morey for the deadline ducking. Cause Morey could’ve been saying that behind the scenes and Joshua Harris was like I’m not paying the tax. So figure a way if you wanna keep him to trade other guys to stay below the tax. Even if they kept McCain, they needed to add and not just keep McCain. To me it was clearly obvious that Harris wanted to get below the tax as soon as Paul George got suspended.

We agree on most of that. Morey's only option wasn't to trade a kid in his 2nd year for basically nothing, though. They still needed to add to him you are right. Seems like two a-holes screwing up what could have been a very good opportunity to go deep. Disgusting all around.
