He hasn't had a great preseason.  But neither has McKee, and McKee won't be the backup.

He was the 2nd fastest runner in the NFL, and there's no evidence he's lost that speed.  That speed keeps him in the NFL, for one thing.

I picture all the fossils in here in this video acting just like this if they were ever together. @mikemack8 is Brian. James William Bottomtooth is @Utebird (one of my favorite characters in the show by the way Mr. Ute). McKee has looked very good so far in preseason.   Much better than Mariota, actually.   And McKee has been playing with the 3rd stringers.
