Deep dish pizza sucks. I’d call it glorified lasagna but that would be a total insult to lasagna, which is delicious. Lou Malnati’s, Geno’s, Uno’s, Due….doesn’t matter. If I wanted to drink a jar of tomato sauce that’s what I’d do.  NY style pizza is better, Detroit style pizza is better, anything thin crust or thick crust, and Pizza Hut pan pizza is also much better than anything deep dish. More like Deep ish. Fight me.

Oh hunny a little "testy” after getting the Ole snippy doodle? Trying to compensate a bit?

Agree, it's dog crap. Screw Detroit pizza as well.

Agreed 100%. Lived in Chicago for 12 years. So many great restaurants. Why waste time on deep dish. I knew very few Chicagoans who ever ate it. It always seemed like something for tourists.

Hell, the "pushers”, the guys behind Hurts, are really doing much more screening than pushing.  The goal is to screen players from Hurts, especially Hurt’s legs.

If the NFL is really into excitement, can’t get much more exciting than going for it on 4th and short.

On our side of the field, even.  I hope that we do it all through the playoffs and 2x to win the superbowl too. I love the idea of laughing in the face of every **** that says "yeah but the tush push."  Suck suck suck it. And then suck it some more.

Allow me to cut short your search.

Jerry Rice was 1st team All-Pro 10x, and is the all time leader, tied with Jim Otto.

Some of those names got it again in their last year by name only

Oh look. College refs want to effect games as well.

Crispy thin crust seems to be more of a thing amongst people who actually live there. Also delicious IMO.

Save us Bradley Roby.

Looks like Goederts not going to IR after all. With Justin Evans already Out and Watkins not practicing, Jurgens is the only guy able to come back who already had his spot open up.

Kelce is 100% a first ballot HOF’r.  If he and Peters retire together this year they both will get in in the same class.

Kelce should be, but his position really holds him back.

For comparison’s sake, take Dermontti Dawson. Dawson was a 6x first team AP, 7x pro bowler, 1990’s NFL All-Decade team with 181 career starts. Basically the most recent direct comparison to Kelce we have as far as achievements.

Dawson was a finalist 3 consecutive times before finally being elected into the HOF.

Now, Kelce has a much higher media presence, which helps, but the fact is that centers just don’t get in on the first ballot very often.

I had a feeling early in the bye week when they didn’t put him on IR when he had the surgery that there was a chance he would play in that Dallas game. The bye week allowed them to bypass one game which meant if it was a four week recovery he could return for that Dallas game. I think they believe that game could have a lot of playoff implications and they want him back for that game. I do wonder if it was say the giants and not Dallas that week if the eagles would’ve just put him on IR thinking he could be back but why risk him not being fully recovered or giving him an extra week against a bad giants team.

Saturday evening Predictions Update

47 predictions recorded thus far.  27 for an Eagles win and 18 for a Chiefs win and 2 ties.  Thanks to rounding the Average Predicted Score is now Eagles 29 Chiefs 28, but It is much closer than that.

As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  So far over the course of the season 104 different EMB posters have made at least one prediction.

A list of the predictions is presented below, sorted alphabetically by the name of the predictor.  If you don't see your name there, then I haven't yet recorded a prediction for you.

@mattwill

Don't forget to include my bonus prediction. Our defense gives up the go ahead/GW TD with under 3 minutes to play.

I don’t think Peters is necessarily a 1st ballot. Wouldn’t be shocked if it took him a few years.

In their prime, at their best for 1 season…

I’m taking Lane at RT over Peters at LT. Yeah I said it…

Depends on who we have on the rest of the line. If we have Mailata, we need Lane way more than Peters.

But if we have average starters at all positions, 2013 Jason Peters was the best Olineman I’ve ever seen

So many political commercials. The next year is going to be interesting

#nopolitics #freeshocker

p.s @hputenis got the snip snip.

pps. @mikemack8 and. @Godfather drink their own pee

I forget what year, maybe 2007?

But Shawn Andrews at RG was insane

Yeah he was something else. Crazy how his career path went

I had my first ever Santucci's Pizza this week. They opened one up here in Central PA and I was impressed. I hadn't heard the best reviews, many saying not worth the money. That's fair as with 2 drinks the bill was over $30 but the pizza was darn good.

Caleb Williams might leave the field in a bassinet tonight.

The best part of going home to central pa is the cost of things. $30 isn’t horrible

Oh wow, just seeing the Jordan Travis injury against Northern Alabama...against Northern Alabama.
