VERY odd timing

Wonder if he(Lurie) can sue his agent for "non discolsure" and how in the world did he pass his Eagles physical? Obviously it harmed the Eagles who could have possibly signed someone else before the deadline

I agree the wording of the question could have been better, but as it was posed, it created a lot of dialogue in three different threads. The rather open-ended wording resulted in two different kinds of answers. Some were more holistic, focusing on the impact of the fumble, and for that matter any fumble, on the course of the game. Others looked at the question from an individual play and individual player performance perspective.

JMO, defenders are taught and work on punching balls out. QB's have many more things to learn and while they may get some work in how to lock a ball in defenders are bigger and stronger in the upper body. Hurts could beat them on a leg press but I bet he can't bench or dead lift near what defenders lift. You don't see many QB's that weigh 355. Big guys beat up little guys. It happens, no reason to get into big arguments.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/eagles-jaire-alexander-reportedly-steps-away-from-football/ar-AA1QfzRH He didn't retire yet. But he is thinking about it. Still the eagles org has been harmed. He should have removed himself from the Eagles while he contemplates his future, not after the deal is made,or possibly the deal was not signed and why he was absent yesterday. Still there should be something done as we could have signed someone else before the deadline passed.

My question would be did the Ravens know?? Should the Eagles get their 6 pick back?? Was the deal even signed?? Will be interesting to see how the league handles this

He practiced....I think we eat this and move on. We retain the rights should he decide to come back. Really bigger concerns....and Philips makes up for any of it.

IDK CB2 seems like a big concern, The fact Love stunk up Lambeau and made our CB's look good means it's still a concern. Not every QB is gonna crap their pants

Maybe I missed something but where did he say it was an out route?

He referenced the play drawn up I shared. It was Dotson that ran the Out. Fl just confused and all over not following along very well.

Speaking of out routes with the Pack sitting on the out routes i have to wonder why the Eagles didn't call an out and go

Seems like everybody has a big ‘tell’ on the Comeback route some how.

I mean...the players play the game. Make better decisions, throws and don't fumble and it gets much easier

Yeah they do what is supposed to be expected in a scheme.

Gets so much easier if the O isn’t weak they are operating in

Everybody needs to just do there jobs

Hurts did fumble. He really was trying to get down to avoid it though. Just had that defender under his knee to block it. Which set up a fantastic Peanut Punch.

Play calls were not the reason Mailata slipped, Fred Johnson completely missed his blocking, Hurts fumbled or made any bad throws. Play calling was fine. Head coaching, game decisions at the end were questionable...and I think dumb. But players need to execute. Both offenses had issues with their players last night. Green Bay has the great O mind...doesn't mean squat when the players mess up

The great young O mind ,LaFleur, went with the opposite approach from what he’s tried before. He went with the low scoring shorten the game. Easily a way any team can get beat.

Well neither team wanted to score because according to Ham that was the game plan ,so you have to be creative with your pre planned errors LOL

You never consider any actual points. Just take off on some errant tangent every time.

Isn't it always up to the players to execute??

No..once again you aren’t following. It’s up to the players to do the coaches job.

SO what do you do when nothing is working? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I know I don't function as well at 20 degrees in a crosswind as I do at 80 with a breeze. It was the first cold/windy game. IDK that alot of risk was in order. Ball is like a brick at that temp. We saw the wind affect both QB's. I WAS hoping for some cheap, quick short stuff in the middle of the field . I saw they were vulnerable there over their LB's like to Ship or Geodert. We did a few after the 1/2. Could have done that more IMO . We don't do crossing routes which is easy grabs for most WR's so SMH but taking the W anyway

Another Siri coaching O reasoning for not as much production this whole time over the middle. Barely did crossing routes and picks.

The percentages of successful execution dramatically go up with good coaching…down with poor.

Never did, but it will reported I did into the year 2029 🤣 and could possibly follow me into the afterlife. At the pearly gates he will say "OH you ALMOST made it in, except when you called that out route" Then I will go to hell serving eternity as a Browns fan

You referenced the drawn up play I shared. Because I reamed Dotson on his Out route on that interception. That was all about crisp cut out. AJ or this play the WR doesn’t cut out crisp at all…they weren’t Out routes.

Regarding Hurts’ fumble last night, there are fumbles, and there are bad fumbles. Do you think his fumble last night was a bad fumble?

Gotta protect the ball. So it’s on Hurts. Obviously he was tasked with long third down conversions at such a high dose. But it wasn’t a bad fumble. He was making a big play converted a first down to keep us alive. He tried to get down to he safe…but the defender was under his knee. Great Peanut punch any player is susceptible to

LMAO, yeah they drew up plays that they didn't want to execute. Hurts fumble was planned I'm sure. But keep digging, you will hit China soon

Wrong again LMAO

Another thing... regardless of it being a " bad" fumble... the bigger thing, it was an excellent play call.

Playcall…well we need you to just make it happen again Hurts
