Yes both have much to master. Under C we need him to rep hundreds of times. Legs and feet placement. Then the automatic after snap drop back. I’m always trying to explain to you that everything needs to be fundamentally sound first. In extremely specific detailed coaching.

Motion: many times he reads the D…then activates the motion….that’s how you make sure you know what you are seeing when it’s happening. Pretty bang bang processing it all and prioritizing targets ….then snap.

A coach that has a fantastic team can win plenty of regular season games but then underachieve in the postseason. Pretty much the Cowboys as a perfect example. A coach that wins a SB with a lesser team is the guy that I grade the highest. Now some coaches have more power and control. Does a coach also perform as GM? So who deserves how much credit for the roster?
December 9, 20241 yr Lets not forget that on the last drive the refs missed an obvious facemask on Calceterra

Incase you are on any medication, make sure you relax and don't skip. All this mental gymnastics are symptoms of a person who can suffer drim from depression. You are wound up so tight about Hurts... it's not going to be good for you. Ehhh…I do obviously put way too much into the Eagles. Siri is just killing me. Just don’t know how I’ll handle if Rosie gives Siri an extension.

Finding out that he isn't " Him" They are trying their best to work around that. Our O has been working around Siri the whole time. Started 2-5…been figuring out how to overcome him ever since:

It’s the easy clear answer. He has the answers provided by a coach. Their LT situation is indeed rough. Our Oline hasn’t been impeccable pass blocking this season. Really been fairly average. Lane has maintained an incredible standard though.

But feels like to me Mahomes isn’t ahead of him on the learning curve. Heck he’s older. Mahomes has a fantastic coach though…so no excuse. Sucks Mahomes actually perfected it that one SB against us.

December 9, 20241 yr Just now, Asg 15 said: Both tackles and to be honest the interior lineman aren't getting the job done either I don’t see a huge difference comparing pass blocking Chiefs and Eagles this season for the most part. The Chiefs left a hole at LT…but we’ve had backups in.

Mailata has struggled a few moments…but the majority been strong…those games he wasn’t injured. Lane I can’t praise enough. But the other three and subs have struggled. The whole group has just gotten the assignments wrong some. Feels a bit weird under Stout. Becton is flat out hit or miss. Heck he’s wins big…but messes up the same. This is the worse pass blocking season from Dickerson. Top paid G was very generous for what we’ve received production wise on the field. Four games he’s been straight outmatched by my judgement. Jurgens has been fine….that level.

You can’t consistently hold the ball 5-6 as a though the avg. time is 3 secs which we are not good at. To many on here want Hurts to have all day in the pocket and act like the OL is doing terrible when he is given plenty of time to throw

Like I said though…he has the coach telling him how to adapt and adjust. But he’s still struggling to actually just do what he’s being told.
December 9, 20241 yr Hell even though they are not the end all be all want to say PFF has the Eagles OL as #2 in run blocking and #5 in pass blocking only OL in the NFL to be top 5 in both

Problem has been when our Oline guys get beat…they are smoked early and fairly clean. Not sure what’s being seen then. I mean TB game blocking wasn’t quality. Giants game there weren’t 2 seconds given in the pocket. GB game had hits and misses. Started off first series of the season getting hit while throwing out of the endzone two straight passes.
December 9, 20241 yr ESPN advanced statistics breaking down pass blocking win rate…. Worst OL was Dickerson at like an 88% win rate…. The other 4 guys were all 90%+ with Lane leading the way as the best T

But feels more like name recognition with individuals and team that has people possibly judging the job done not so much based on what’s occurred this season.

It’s the NFL the DLs get paid as well we aren’t going to win every drop back the Lions OL get beat as well Goff has taken hits and sacks…. Doesn’t change the fact they are a great OL that wins more than they lose the same with the Eagles OL. Using the OL pass blocking as an excuse is just a terrible take 31 other QBs would be thrilled to have the Eagles OL protecting them

Talking several games feels like he maybe won slightly more than half of the pass blocks.
December 9, 20241 yr My point also was keying on when our Oline guys get beat…it’s quick and clean. Instant pressure
