Nothing happened recently to put this into perspective for you?  Your team has a good chance of winning, but nothing is ever guaranteed in life.   Detroit has not faced any team that can control the line of scrimmage like us.  

They beat Green Bay twice...so did we. They beat Houston, we won at Baltimore.  They lost to Buffalo.   

They poured on the score to bad teams, we run the clock out.

I would have thought by things happening in your life, you would have it figured out where to put football on the priority list.    big picture, we grew up with some crap teams, Campbell, Kotite, etc... We have a 2000 yard rusher with the #1 defense....and what you call the best QB in franchise history.  You have seen us in way worse spots than this over the decades.  Enjoy it.

What your offended because I actually try and talk football and the matchup? Of course I highlighted the bigtime All Pro S we were about to face. I try and dig a bit deeper than praise or blame the QB like barely fans.

Steichen was the mediocre pro O mind…that showed to be a huge upgrade that carried Siri….even through to 10-1 last season pretty much.

You don't realize how good your own team is... it's a shame.  

Ok.. .lets talk football... how do you think LA will matchup vs Our DL ... how do they look to stop Carter.  How do they stop BOTH of our edge guys.  How do they neutralize the All Pro LB Baun?  How do they attack our secondary with 5 excellent starters?

Then... how does LA look to stop Barkley.   Do they load the box, then who covers AJ.  Once tehy got Barkley and AJ accounted for, what do you think they do with Smith?  Once tehy get theree, how do they look to stop the Yac Creation Specialist Goedert?    And finally after all that, how do they appraoch stopping the best QB in franchise history?

Give me some cover 2, quarters, 4-3 over, 3-4 Sam and Will Blitz, zero coverage... 2 high safety.

I didn't even get to our OL.  How do they look to defend our inside zone... the outside zone.. when we have both guards pull on a sweep.  The counter run?  Then what happens when we throw in a FB on the wham block.  Then we counter with a rollout from Hurts on play action.  do they use a spy?  Does the DE crash with the LB coming around the outside?  

Lets talk some ball and how the Rams might approach stopping our team?  

When we run the mesh concept with a receiver running the seem route behind it, do you think they look to go cover 2 on that, and if so how do you think that opens up the crossing pattern that runs the opposite direction of the play action to Barkley?   I think it could leave Goedert in position to make another great one handed catch and get some YAC down the sideline.  Also keeping Hurts protected as he can unload the ball quickly.   

Form there, I'd like to have Hurts keep the ball once using all the same motion.  now if you are LA, how do you defend that?

Steichen sucks in Indy... it showed without AJ, Smith, Goedert and the OL minus his stud guard Nelson.  

The great O mind in Miami didn't look so good this year, neither did the great O mind in KC... whose team doesn't look like it's building up for anything.

One of Lamar or Allen is building up to play golf next week.  Same with all the Lions or Jayden Daniels.  

Now...lets talk about the effect of the elements... and how it might hurt the great O mind from LA.    Snow is supposed to start around 2:30... with the coldest temperatures in 2 year in Philly.  

Now that may also hurt the crowd, I was at the Tampa game in 2002 when Gruden made Andy look like he never saw a football before... that game was brutal as a fan, frigid with extra commercials, was difficult to get into the game.  But now we have players from a warm climate ... one with all the issues in their home town, coming to play in  the frigid weather?  You would think advantage to the way our team is built.  Usually with QB play, mobility and short yardage accuracy help in this type of weather... I like that with our QB. 

So much Xs and Os to talk about, glad someone on here is a football junky like me with the Xs and Os.   I had the NFL Challenge game on my Tandy computer as a kid.  All Xs and Os where you called plays and watched it unfold, no controller , just calling the plays.  

This game was awesome!

If it was get hyped over having a 2K rusher then….,we should be celebrating having the greatest single season rusher ever.
