I believe our pass rush is better than the Vikes. Love to see DeJean come on a safety blitz sometime I think the whole NFC north benefited from an easy schedule this year... the AFC South was a brutal division... we swept the AFC North including 2 away games at Baltimore and Cincy... they play Jax, Tenn and Indy... Houston is good, by far from a juggernaut, especially with their injuries during the year. The NFC West wasn't as good either, we had ATL and Tampa with AJ out, caught the Saints while they were the hottest team in the league. Just perspective here before we bow down to Detroit, GB and Minn for being all that.

How about the utilization of his blocking skills. I would add that the elements could put a wrench into those plans, but also the fact that they need to create a blocking scheme to counter Jalen Carter as well. With Carter, he seems like he can stunt the A, B and C gaps, two gap the G, usually the RG and even some stunts with Nolan Smith. They must figure out when to double Carter and keep the other guys blocked too. You plan on Run Stunts?

I think he knows what needs to be done. if he delvers early they will have to go elsewhere

Guy has been balling this season. Run and pass. Milton is very key. No doubt benefitting from his teammates. Ojomo been a tough pestering force inside also.

I'm planning to coach my son's basketball team then come home to some good food and watch the game... but do I expect Fangio to plan some stunts, sure. I like the run blitzes on early downs because it also can force a quick unexpected pass. I think the faster we get to Stafford the shorter the routes for Puka, and advantage us.

I love Smith vs the run. Hunt and Huff ( the backups) I don;t think heir run D will be much of an issue. But lets counter... how do you think the Rams D matches up against our run? the first game didn't turn out so well IMO for them. Bigger issue IMO is them stopping our run game, not so much Huff and Hunt vs the run... you see what i'm saying? The meat of the plays matters more so than the fringe stuff. Sure they can always break a run because Huff of Hunt messed up... but they need to constantly stop our run game... the numbers work in our favor as far as usage.

IDK Matt didn't seems as mobile as I have seen him(he's not a runner but he can move a little bit), Last week it was pretty noticeable he was a stationary target. Maybe it was my imagination

He seems excited to play, and I hope he is because we have him for the duration He came into the SB and was thoroughly targeted when Greenlaw was injured. Arguably became the difference making piece to Chiefs Championship puzzle.
January 16, 20251 yr Author I hope the coverage is tight. I don't want to see the 12 yard layoff. We looked good vs GB. I think Kupp is banged up also? Nacua is good in the open field,we can't miss tackling him

Baun is a beast though who can take a game over, but yeah Burks is a weak link. Maybe Fangio has taught him a few things

January 16, 20251 yr 44 minutes ago, joemas6 said: IDK, you seem to be with Puka, Kupp and Williams... so I just brought up Barkley. For me... the two biggest problems either team will face... are Barkley and Jalen Carter. I mean, it is the NFL so I always expect the other team to actually produce something, I'm not really expecting 55-0 where we hold them to 40 total yards and we get 600 yards. They will produce on us, they will stop us... but I just expect we produce more on them and we stop them more than they stop us. I like our matchup.... and really I feel that a good part of our fan base does not realize how good our OL is. I love how you recognize this mentioning our worst OL Becton dominating guys with pancakes. Shady recently said this on TV, that he thinks this Eagles OL is the best of all time. It is pretty crazy with it's size. For me, I would hate to go against us, I think there is a goo part of our fanbase that just doesn't realize this as they just constantly need to look for something to complain about. Good thing you pointed out our 5th best OL nd how dominant he is... imagine dealing with him, plus the other 4..then having to stop Barkley or chase Hurts? Our Oline is huge. Built to maul and be physical wearing our opponents out. Obviously played a factor later in the game more than from the beggining. I like our matchup also.

So again, I'm not expecting a shut out ... the Rams will have some success on offense. But how do they stop us? We are a bigger problem for them.
