WE got formations, routes, protections etc. Lots of Xs and Os to discuss. McVay is way beyond any football knowledge I could contribute.

For me... the two biggest problems either team will face... are Barkley and Jalen Carter. I mean, it is the NFL so I always expect the other team to actually produce something, I'm not really expecting 55-0 where we hold them to 40 total yards and we get 600 yards. They will produce on us, they will stop us... but I just expect we produce more on them and we stop them more than they stop us. I like our matchup.... and really I feel that a good part of our fan base does not realize how good our OL is. I love how you recognize this mentioning our worst OL Becton dominating guys with pancakes. Shady recently said this on TV, that he thinks this Eagles OL is the best of all time. It is pretty crazy with it's size. For me, I would hate to go against us, I think there is a goo part of our fanbase that just doesn't realize this as they just constantly need to look for something to complain about. Good thing you pointed out our 5th best OL nd how dominant he is... imagine dealing with him, plus the other 4..then having to stop Barkley or chase Hurts?
January 16, 20251 yr Author We brought Paris back up onto the 53. IDK how effective AJ will be,he said his knee was fine, but the route tree was vanilla. To be effective he is going to have to make cuts. We may use a rotation if AJ is guarded. I'm hoping after the GB TD Hurts will trust Dotson a little

January 16, 20251 yr But you know how Siri hated Motion and liked to get the playcall in at the last second? McVay’s the opposite. A top O mind indeed. He really utilizes motion. In several ways. He gets the playcall in early so has QB can have time to read the D. It’s amazing how easy it is to bash a QB not getting the best read when he’s up against the playclock with no motion giving any extra ‘tells.’ A QB with time to survey things because he did get the playcall early enough….then sets forth motion to really survey the landscape presnap. All the sudden QBs look so much wiser.

We have to see how they come out of the tunnel, then figure out the best way to beat it. We have enough talent they will be strecthing to cover them all even if AJ isn't 100%

Lets talk Xs and Os... stop being like the 7 year old having to make fun of people... that's not what grown ups do. We got plenty of xs and Os to discuss here. Back to Puka, I think they absolutely try to isolate him as much as possible vs our RCB opposite of Mitchell. This might force Fangio to call less 2 deep and possibly employ a single high look but lean it towards that side. I trust Mitchell on the island vs their 3rd WR ( I consider Kupp 2 if not 1B) ... i'm hoping he sneaks in some runs blitzes as well, if we can keep Williams in check early, force them to pass, it will make the coverage schemes much easier to execute.
January 16, 20251 yr Author Rams are tired, they were beat up by the Vikes, they had 1 day less rest, they are coming into a hostile crowd,we didn't expend alot of energy vs GB. We are ready to go. Stafford has a great arm,we need to make him move,he's not a runner.Same as always. Hurts can't take 15 minutes to throw. he can't run backwards and take sacks. Just play intelligent ball and we're good

I was with Dan Marinos cousin for 12 years and she spent a week here right after Thanksgiving. Know Dan very well I was with the best snowboarder in the world one summer. It was right before all her Olympic glory. Just another girl that was a freak that I thought could snowboard really well….absolutely no idea she was headed on the trajectory she was.

Just play intelligent ball and we're good They basically had less than a days rest... when you play that night game (which we had too many back in 2023, not a thing to take lightly when considering a " collapse") it basically gives you the post game routine either early in the morning ... or not at all. You play early, you go i the tub, get your post game meal and a good night sleep... compare the Eagles being done 7:30pm on Sunday... do the post game routine and home in bed by 10. Vs the Rams ending after 11pm Monday... post game routine done around 1:30 am... then travel back... recovery is way behind schedule. We looked much fresher than Green Bay, should be same with the Rams. The following week would even out a little, especially if we travel to Detroit. Still... look at the stability of the schedule.... would end up being 3 weeks ...3 Sunday games... 4:30, 3pm and 3pm. Great routine.
January 16, 20251 yr Author Thing is,Detroit is pretty beat up. Winning tomorrow sets us up tp play a beat up team who could lose more players this weekend. Although we would play in Detroit,I think we can beat them, but first things first

Even though the Vikes lost, the thing I noticed was Stafford was not moving out of the pocket, he looked like a statue back there. I believe our pass rush is better than the Vikes. Love to see DeJean come on a safety blitz sometime

They’ll target Burks run and pass
January 16, 20251 yr Author IDK alot about Oren Burks, what do you guys think of him? He seems excited to play, and I hope he is because we have him for the duration

They are used to it, our guys will be faster on the turf. Would be exciting
