Can anyone please tell me where the CJ trade makes sense? Green basically sucks, played 27 games and started 23 as of 2024. In his rookie season, he allowed 47 quarterback pressures and committed 12 penalties.

They had a bad OLine coach contrary to many thoughts I’ve listened to about the Texans blocking. He’s been replaced. You know this was all run by Stout to make such a move. We’re getting a first round pick G at bargain basement price that needs good coaching. Could just work out real nice for us. We’ll have a competition between Steen and Green. Like to see Keegan make a leap also…but that doesn’t pertain to this post so much.

Once Ham gets something in his head...it takes about a decade of proof otherwise to convince him otherwise.

Watch Smith Nolan miss a game this year...and the big "I was the only one concerned about this...etc "

Meanwhile Hurts missed 5 games

This was the universal scouting note on Nolan and why he was available at the end of round one. Glad he showed so well this season. His rookie season felt he was held back exactly for this reason…it was our concern. Let him heal up and build up. Sorry hasn’t relieved my concerns about it still with what’s transpired. He’s done about as much as we’ve allowed up to this point. Is what it is….still an area of concern for me.

Reports all over of Reddick not beinga team player just looking for individual stats.   Doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that this was a factor in Nolan not playing more snaps.

Now Reddick was in control of the playing time for our first round pick and called the shots concerning Nolan, interesting take.

But I fully acknowledge Nolan was able to make it all through this past season playing at a high level. Sure wasn’t like Huff was going to be productive providing breathers.

He was a little light for edge.  He put on some weight going into year 2, all reporters were noticing the difference even though it was only like 5 pounds.

He had the shoulder issue... at the time.

Dickerson and Sweat had injuries as well... maybe our training staff combined with the fact it's their full time job to play football now...has helped everyone.

But should be obvious Reddick was part of why Nolan didn't get more snaps.   His selfishness was reported after the season. But again, I forget you aren't local getting all the radio and TV info... if it's not on a podcast or article you guys don't see it.

All good... you don't get it because Reddick is your boy. We've all been down this road a million times

Yeah...Howie actually made a bad move...that's how it looks so far.   He is no John Lynch, the perfect GM in SF.

Free up money for something, $211k is peanuts for this year... about $6 mil next year... $14 mil in 2027

I hadn't seen the numbers yet but freeing up future money is needed too.

Got some extension decision to make over the next couple years.

Jordan Davis- no clue if we look to extend him how we see him but Philly is known more to extend players v using the 5th year option

Carter/Nolan- year after that and Carter is a no brainer extension right now. Nolan puts together a 2nd good season he likely will get one as well

Q/Dejean- will both be up for extension at the same time assuming we don't use the 5th year option on Q

And that just the big name draft picks Hurts will likely get a new deal in that span, maybe some OL guys no clue what the contracts look like for them. Got some of the later round draft picks mixed in if they play themselves into a new deal Ojomo/Sydney Brown/ Ringo/Ricks/ Dean/ Hunt/ Trot as well

But where is this concern coming from is still the question nothing highlighted that Nolan was dealing with injuries he played 17 games as a rookie he played nearly identical snaps as Hunt with an extra proven edge rusher ahead of him.

16% and 55%- D and ST snaps for Nolan(rookie year) Nolan had Reddick/BG/Sweat ahead of him. To be honest Nolan was set to be edge player #5 until we released Barnett who shocker was unhappy with playing time not many reps for the #4 guy

23% and 52%- D and ST snaps for Hunt (rookie year) only had Sweat/Nolan/BG ahead of him Huff fell out of grace like week 1 then BG got hurt what mid season moving Hunt into that DE3 spot.

I know this will come off as TMZ-ish…but could it revolve around Ceedy Duce launching his Crazy eight brand essentially advertising cocaine?

Tore his pectoral ending just 2022 last year in college. Had a shoulder injury in TC of his rookie year 2023along with some other just rumored injuries. 2024 season he suffered a torn triceps. He toughed through finishing the second half of the SB. I like him..wanted to draft him…but has he erased the scouting report questioning his durability? For me it’s a no. That’s just something out of his control really. I’ve been behind him all the way knowing he’ll do everything possible to be his best. It’s a tough sport.

Cam Jurgens is up. Blankenship the leader of our Secondary deserves to make some money here.

There sure are a bunch of 8 Balls in his branding…look at the guy…you think it’s just coincidence? He’s definitely more than just a little crazy.

Glad it’s finally catching up to them. Several years just that one game difference between the two of us for who wins the East. Now Commanders stepping up clearly as the competition in division. Snyders gone. No longer can we count on them cellar dwelling.

I'm not up to date in things lol

ARod starting for the Steelers. Makes sense…Tomlin is the one that could handle him. Could really work out.

It saves the Eagles 5 million in cap space next year which, apparently was worth it.  Howie is a cap genius, so we have to trust that.

Green was a mid first round pick who has struggled in the pros.  But if anyone can turn him into something, it's Jeff Stoutland.  Green is loaded with power and talent......and Stoutland has turned rugby players into very good pros.
