His contract already seems set with the void years and I can't see them looking to pay him and use more cap space. It seems like he either plays 2025 or gets traded after June Sounds like you were backing up what I was saying
March 10, 20251 yr Good for Williams... $26 million per. Took a chance going into the last year of his deal, bet on himself...and helped us win on his way to getting paid. I remember when we picked him, one of our scouts refused to give Howie a high 5... that guy looks like a genius now!
March 10, 20251 yr Not just whatever financials with Goedert…the draft class works for us. Real good TE class. We are taking one. Is it necessarily the TE we hired his college HC? Not going that far…not saying it won’t be either.

Of course the anti- Howie guy had to point that out on here at the time... always looking to take a shot at Howie. Could have drafted the big DT instead of the injury prone Dickerson round 2 and gotten the much needed CB round 3. Stupid Howie!

Can look for that 2027 4th…because gauging things we aren’t getting a 2025 4th for him. A great carrot when most GMs are forced to make moves realizing they might not even have a job then. Smart play by Rosie…utilize his advantages. I like the 2027 4th over a 2025 6th right now. Whatever you say ... But we can't even get a 2025 4th... but the player is unhappy getting $14.5 million as an over 30 TE?

Have Ainias…want to be optimistic with him. Dotson I’m really looking to take a leap in contributing. Shipley also. I know it makes some if your heads roll to thin k about replacing some production we got from a TE with nonTE sources….but the YAC Creation hasn’t ever been a traditional TE role as much as Goedert could deliver with it. Because you are not replacing Geodart we can and should have other guys that can produce YAC I mean hell AJ Brown is a pretty damn good YAC guy himself…. But he isn’t replacing Geodart as a TE. You can easily just say we need more YAC guys it has zero to do with replacing Geodart. We need a Te that can play inline block and still produce as a receiver to replace Geodart

It's obvious
March 10, 20251 yr Sweat to Arizona... 4 years $76.4 mil Should get a 4th round comp pick for that amount. Hopefully, these contracts are getting big for sure

He just was such a hard worker and put his head fine and grind. I do remember you making comments digging Milton. I was happy he had such a successful season. Good for him. I didn’t doubt him..no matter how small a school he came from. Louisiana Tech to stud NFL player….great scouting. Good blue collar strong character guys that work hard and dedicate to their craft rarely disappoint. He maxed out his potential…going to make bank.

But we aren’t looking for AJ and Smitty to need to do more. We need other players contributing. Let Smitty and AJ eat doing everything they already do.

Be gayer all you want.,,I believe it mattered and was real helpful additional element when he could provide that extra piece to our O puzzle,

Agree those few plays stand out... his blocking for 40 snaps per game really doesn't stick out but obviously is more beneficial being he does that the most.

I enjoy rooting for exactly players like him. He got it done…and earned his big payday..and I’m just happy for him…sucks to lose him..but I completely understand.
