Pretty much just basic common sense stuff. Goedert wasn’t racking up the stats with Ertz here. He needed him out. Andy even like some well kept secret about that’s what was going on behind the scenes. Ertz is a good player…still is. Just good business sense from Goedert and his camp. Yes it is TMZ when your adding extra drama for no reason lmao It was all obvious course of action everyone knew that Ertz time was coming to an end once we drafted Geodart

We don’t like Ringo more than Rodgers. It actually played out before our eyes on the field. That points to the other factors at play. One of them being Ringo is a good looking player.

Kind of sucked…Ertz was a quality Eagles. But I understood from Goedert’s perspective. And I get it why he’s doing this now.

Again... in 2025 going forward... not what happened in 2024... Reub said they are high on Ringo... which he said this morning around 8am on the morning show. He didn't expect Rodgers back
March 10, 20251 yr Also have to add in the fact isn’t this being regarded as a pretty good TE draft class? On top of the recent success of rookie TEs Bowers last year, Laporta the year before that. Can definitely see why the Eagles might more looking to get the new guy now and wanting to play him day 1

Plus the money he was costing us. His time ran out, it happens

I hear your opinion and disagree…which is fine. Feels like totally Goedert play to me. Zero guaranteed money…and realized we aren’t extending him. Technically if it makes you feel any better…it’s really Goedert’s agent making smart business decisions.

You just make up your own narratives to add extra drama just to say oh Eagles are moving on from Ertz to make way the 2nd round investment TE we drafted SHOCKER!!!!

Yeah because you seem to only look at things from the team perspective here. There is the player perspective also. That’s all…nothing real drama…really just the obvious. Isn’t always necessary that way. But Ertz was very much in Goedert’s way. Just the way it was.

Oh Geodart wants a new deal every player that runs out of guaranteed money wants a new deal to get the guarantees back… Hence why I was saying all of last year Geodart is likely gone I figured we would let him play out his final year but if we move on sooner it is what it is. Same things your saying without the TMZ it’s really not that hard to do

Ertz was a Wentz lover and got all butt hurt when we ditched him from "a close personal source"
March 10, 20251 yr Really his cap hit is too high this year with the Rosie Magic contract. We needed to extend him…or do something.

Probably took it almost as bad as No Mas did. Of the two…think Ertz at least has gotten over it by now.

Curious... you talk against AJ...you talk against Goedert....is the idea to make Hurts loom better? Ertz had to go... Goedert has been injured... he has zero leverage, if it were him asking for this, reports would be he was given permission to seek a trade. The fact that rumors are the Eagles aren't even looking at a 2025 pick is very telling that they are just gauging the market. A post June trade makes way more sense... it also is the best reason they are looking at picks AFTER this draft. According to reports that is. If your idea with Goedert being unhappy... or his agent...we would have had some kind of report out. Your boy McLane lives for this.

Not on a running team that likes to use 2 TEs
March 10, 20251 yr Goedert was our YAC Creation weapon. So gotta think about that here. It can’t just be replaced by tiny fragile Covey. Have Ainias…want to be optimistic with him. Dotson I’m really looking to take a leap in contributing. Shipley also. I know it makes some if your heads roll to thin k about replacing some production we got from a TE with nonTE sources….but the YAC Creation hasn’t ever been a traditional TE role as much as Goedert could deliver with it.

His contract already seems set with the void years and I can't see them looking to pay him and use more cap space. It seems like he either plays 2025 or gets traded after June

Can look for that 2027 4th…because gauging things we aren’t getting a 2025 4th for him. A great carrot when most GMs are forced to make moves realizing they might not even have a job then. Smart play by Rosie…utilize his advantages. I like the 2027 4th over a 2025 6th right now.
