Could we believe Slay isn’t returning then also? With Slayleaving it would be easy to assume CGJohnson would take over the leadership role. He isn’t the guy you want for that role. Even Slay mentioned Blankenship would be the guy who should take over. Ceedy Duce is clearly the very very loudest though. I admit this is reading deep into the behind the doors situation….but does make some sense.

Glad it’s finally catching up to them. Several years just that one game difference between the two of us for who wins the East. Now Commanders stepping up clearly as the competition in division. Snyders gone. No longer can we count on them cellar dwelling.

Curious the number of playoff wins for Dallas compared to the Eagles since 2015?   Not really thinking it's close...but 2016,Dak and Zeke's rookie season was the last time Dallas played after the Eagles season was over.

No doubt there is a huge difference I prioritize at the end. But clearly we’ve been neck and neck with the Cowboys all these previous seasons…just one game deciding who is the division winner. Division winner gets a real nice boost in seeding and home field advantage. So all those seasons the cowboys didn’t  sign any big FAs it never made a difference between what we do versus them.

But that’s the past pretty much at this point. Now we should shift towards the Commanders.

Commanders traded for WR Deebo and LT Tunsil. Added DT Kinlaw and S Will Harris

Yeah...it kinda did make a huge difference..  ask Dallas fans

Dak does tend to put up some nice regular season stats…seems most important to others here

Dak tends to have a monster cap hit.

Not until this last season was dallas problem about not having enough quality personnel on their roster.

But now those cowboys are completely unraveling.

Indianapolis general manager Chris Ballard told reporters last month at the NFL Scouting Combine that the team needed to find "real competition” for Richardson, the fourth-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

So they’re signing Daniel Jones…hahahahahaha

Steelers made an offer to Fields. They also made an offer to Darnold. Darnold chose Kubiak over Smith it’s being reported. No mention of either HC of the Steelers or Seachickens. He made the decision to go with the best O mind…for those teams being the OC.

Yeah...it's been a huge problem for Dallas fans .. they never were able to finish a roster to win in the playoffs.

When was the last time you spoke to a Dallas fan?  You can speak for them.

It's absolutely been a problem for them that their team hasn't signed any free agent of significance for over a decade!

I don't get how you specifically don't get it, you still have a hard on for 2019 and not having cap space.  It's been a decade for them!

I got the meme right from a Dallas fan page.... lol.  Yet you continue to live on your own planet!

So does it mean we suck because we aren’t signing big FAs this offseason? Not how I see it. Really the way it should be is not needing to sign FAs….but retaining your own guys that you’ve made good choices on previously.

Yet we not only are not signing FAs…we’re looking to be the team that loses the most good players. Even could throw Gainwell into that list if you like. Heard he’s signing up with the Steelers. He could maybe even earn the backup RB role if they don’t draft a RB.

Those cowboys were neck and neck with us every season. Every year just one game difference between which one of us gets home field advantage and the higher seeding by winning the division. Goes back to how I keep talking about prioritizing how good a team you can peak at reaching your potential at the end of the season. Not just that one step thinking about thinking your champs winning early in the season. Need to strive for higher goals than peaking week one. Cowboys problems weren’t lacking personnel. They’ve had as talented regular season rosters as anybody else in the league during all those years(pretty much right up until last season).

Not sure what you’re talking ain’t much here. But clearly we needed to be able to sign FAs than them so much more because of their success drafting. We had a team just kept declining in talent after our first SB parade.

Then you finally get into how very key clutch is. Just endless amounts of fans that champion the regular season stat padding players. You need players that can come through in the big pressure moments. We have a key player or two that actually seem to thrive on the bigger stages and big pressure moments. Build off those character trait players …instead of the stat glory hound seekers.

Q, DeJean, Baun, Hurts, AJ and Smitty…these guys are looking to be in these big moments.

Signing FAs doesn’t have much to do with how Dak wilts in the postseason.
