LMAO Brady took pay CUTS to help out the Pats yes? more than once? How many homes does anyone need to own? 2 mil a year(which will rise immensely next contract) will buy DeJean a nice Iowa farm when he retires

Fangio was exactly understanding the situation I’m describing, so he clearly tried to make a case for DeJean to stay. Not happening. Watch what happens. DeJean is too good. He has to fail outside to return to the Slot. Or…years from now after we pay him…then he could accept any job.

Vic saying that to the media…actually is telling me…it’s an issue he’s addressing. Why else would he even make any statement about it?

Look..sure once you’ve made a 100 mil. You can afford to accept a couple mil less to achieve prioritizing team success. Really I totally believe Kraft was just giving Brady everything under the sun against the rules. Him and Kraft were tight. Proven cheaters to all new levels. Is there really any comparison between a guy made so many millions…after that choosing to take a mil or two less while being paid so many millions still? I know you would live DeJean pay. But DeJean can earn Stingley Ramsey pay. Rookie contracts aren’t even anything to consider comparing to vet NFL contracts. 9 mil versus 100 mil. Sure we both would live 9 mil. But try and tell CEO of the huge business or bankers to not take there 100 mil bonus. Tell Goodell 9 mil is enough.

I don’t even for a second doubt he knows he can be great outside. That’s why he’s not staying healthy in the Slot. A guy like Maddox? It isn’t the same problem. But a top big time player…it’s already done. DeJean has every reason to believe he can earn that top CB money. There isn’t any choice to make. That’s the league pay structure.

If DeJean had stayed at Iowa the coaches plan was to use him on offense as well . Should DeJean be our new TE?
