He audibled into a good counter for the D play.If you combine Joe Montana, Tom Brady, a world record sprinter and a power lifter... you almost get someone as good as Hurts.

For the next 2 years teams have that challenge. Bark and the tush push is the offense and there is no reason to change that until such time as it becomes apparent neither thing works any longer

April 19, 20251 yr Author Here is my targeted player and one of the few I would make a move UP for- Derrick Harmon. he's a great fit

Because usually that would be accurate. They did focus on Saquan. Not denying that even. But it worked. They stopped him. So what that created was third and longs…second and long. Those third and 7 passes no way anybody can convince me they were focused on thinking we’d run the ball.
April 19, 20251 yr You said yourself …we stick to Saquan…even though he wasn’t doing squat. That created very difficult situation for our QB. He consistently was relied on to bail us out and convert in less than ideal situations.
April 19, 20251 yr We agree we stick to Saquan. We agree Saquan wasn’t gaining anything. How can both of these statements be true….and Hurts wasn’t forced into very obvious passing situations?

It’s near impossible.

April 19, 20251 yr Author SO you're comparing Barkley to "special talent" Sanders "rushing attack"? LMAO, not CLOSE at ALL1 hour ago, cunninghamtheman said:Since Siri became coach…started off 2-5 then gave up playcalling to Steichen to save his hide….all the way to wining the SB…when hasn’t any defense had to focus on stopping our rushing attack?

But just because we didn’t pass…clearly didn’t mean we couldn’t. Key difference! You mean the brand new O Hurts failed at? After leading the league in PICKS? Siri saved the season by making Hurts a game manager and he has THRIVED in that position. Hurts is no Payton Manning here LOL

I know it’s hard to believe….but he’s not old at all. He hasn’t benefitted from top coaching and scheme…or having a consistent same OC in college or the pros. He became a pro pretty young. He’s been a little behind in some QB areas that needed to be developed. Not that he can’t do any of it. Every time he proves the HurtsHaters wrong. You said he couldn’t win a SB. Done…by leading us in spectacular fashion as the main catalyst for our glory.

April 19, 20251 yr You said he can’t throw over the middle. Then Moore moves Smitty and AJ there some…and boom…with anybody that actually is worthy of being a pro WR…he does it. Problem clearly has been Rosie couldn’t provide that last piece. No QB is producing over the middle to Quez, OZ, JJaw…all the other proven unproductive WR.
April 19, 20251 yr You said Hurts can’t read. Then boom…as soon as Kelce retires and we hire Moore that can coach….Hurts did that job very well.
April 19, 20251 yr This track record of events isn’t tiny. Years now we’ve seen what’s been occurring under Siri with Hurts. Hurts I agree wasn’t developed great reading Ds in college. Different O every season obviously being a main factor. He was young. Heck short of Peyton Manning what rookie QB is great at reading Ds?

Of course we kept scoring anyway because their D was weak. KC got to the SB on refs calls, they weren't that talented

So after focusing and shutting down Saquan over and over again….what happened the other downs? Saquan ran for 2 yards a carry. We both agree we still stuck with him. There is no other situation that could result but having obvious tough passing downs.

He had Kelce …so he could skip teaching and relying on Hurts being developed on so much of that.UH when the 2's and 3's played the offense functioned just as well. Hurts isn't the cog that makes the O line function, please. But we know the agenda by now that the team collapses without your god(which is false)
