Rosie was clearly heavily scouting the terrible QB draft class awaiting even. Feels so highly probable Rosie actually uses up plenty of draft ammo to trade up to acquire Pickett that next draft.

I mean rumors everywhere he was scouting things hard. Then even traded for Pickett after seeing him look so unstarter worthy with the Steelers.

We can point to several players…Gannon and Stout…but that really was so much on Hurts. He really did carry and will that capped out low talent team to make a run and be a playoff team.

Reagor and Quez as starting WR for him. Line saving weapon being Smitty. Smitty is fantastic! But this was Smitty rookie season even.

No QB survives that setup. HC Siri doesn’t survive that season. Whole organization we live and die about completely takes a turn towards terrible failure after what should have been the disaster unfolding that season. Nobody survives. We waste multiple picks chasing Pickett as our savior.

Absolutely everything just setup for our whole organization in 2021 to crumble and go nothing but terribly after that.

But …Siri got out of the way….leading to a complete 180. He wasn’t the key to success. Foolish to even suggest. He stepped back…and absolutely every other factor remaining the same team went nothing but up.

Matt.... this was what we had to hear all season. Look at these posts before the playoffs started. Ham just not happy with the season.. thinking the offense wasn't good or growing.... because it's more important for everyone to bow down to Hurts as he gets stats, than for the Eagles to win.

Best season to watch a young team just doninate...and we got the grinch all season.

This isn’t even like trying to debate between the several changed variables that occurred. One thing changed…less Siri…leading to overwhelming leaps forward gained. Siri was the weakest link of anything.

Our whole organization and everybody surrounding what happened rose then. Instead of resetting by causing a franchise QB forcing trading up for Pickett in a devoid QB class….we cemented our franchise QB leader.

Siri had to hand off things out of self preservation. His performance was just clearly leading to Lurie having to can him…likely before seasons end even. Lurie…the guy least likely to knee jerk fire.

Hurts proved himself. He showed FL to be so obviously wrong. FL still to this day even tries to state Hurts only as good as he’s carried by his teammates. Just days ago asked where would Hurts be without support from such a great roster. Pathetic to have been so involved the entire time and have missed what already happened. Hurts lead a bad low talent team. He carried that bad team being stuck with a green coach…in a terrible O scheme.

Most every factor going against Hurts. Started 2-5 even. Hurts answered by willing and forcing that …to the playoffs. Can’t make any case for Hurts possessing any lower floor than…as a first time starter, in a bad O, a HC over his head, low talent roster….playoffs.

Quez and Reagor starting WR. Smitty only real weapon…just a rookie though.

All these years supplying ample sampling about Siri at this point. Slightly excusing to have missed Siri shortcomings right from the start. But after all this? His O scheme was bad. Nowhere near…just not quite perfected or not elite. It was not acceptable!

There was no scheme. Embarrassing…anybody who actually realizes the only obvious understanding at this point.

Any O mind running his scheme for the very first time just should be understandably less than having things mastered and perfected. Some how even just that is being missed by most here. But he didn’t even have multiple varying plays to run from each personnel look we lined up from. It was give this look to run this play. Then this certain look to run the other play. I can’t even refer to that as even acceptable high school level scheme.

Much less a scheme I think of as actually having rhymes and reasons for everything. Football wisdoms concluding into this planned scheme. None of that.

Prevailing opinion here is 2-5 coach …just got out of the way and everybody flourished to make a run to become a playoff team….goes down as Siri resume buiiding?
