Team should not start the season worrying about tie breakers LOL. They just need to win 1 game per week and IDK any team that plays to lose a tie breaker. So for me, I'm not going to concern myself with tiebreakers until we get near the end. Right now the focus should be on who stays, who goes and if there are any other teams cuts we can find useful. The season hasn't even begun yet why are we worrying about tie breakers?
May 15, 20251 yr Author • The Eagles will take on the Washington Commanders twice over the final three weeks of the season. The last time the division rivals squared off was in the 2024 NFC Championship Game, when Philadelphia set an NFL conference championship record with 55 points scored.------------------- So the last 3 weeks. I don't like that we play teams that close together, especially if both are in playoff contention in the same division because game 1 will be "head hunting". Of course when they make the schedule they flip the computer switch that says "MOST DRAMA MOST MONEY" switch. Too many "international" games They tried NFL Europe and it failed. They should have left it there IMO, but the greed will seep into any crack it can
May 15, 20251 yr Author I'm looking at either 11 or 12 wins(again as I did last year). Although some opponents improved, I believe Howie covered our lost players well. May not win in the blowouts/domination we did last year, but I see few roadblocks and every team usually has a bad game or 2 or a close loss. So once again, I see us winning the division. KC will be out for revenge, but if we perform 1/2 as well as we did in the SB we can beat them again. Tough schedule is going to make some boys into men. I suspect a tad more passing (not much) as teams will try stacking he box. It didn't work before, but we may need a few more passes to pull that D back. I'm excited to see the secondary again this year. They are going to be headaches for opponents game plans :) Still looking at matchups. Joe said the Vegas line was 11.5, so they got it right IMO(they should they are pros) Giving us the benefit of the doubt 12 would be my call(barring injury obviously)

This year we shall see....who steps up as the 6th and 7th OL... are we deep enough at edge... are we OK at CB? The beauty is we are such a young team. Still so much growth to come from within. You could see it happening all last year, hopefully we see the same this year.

Like you, we always wanted to get younger and we did. Hurts found his game, his maturity was good to see, he even tied the knot The secondary was just a thing of beauty. But you are right we need LB's, S and a CB to step up. I think they will do it. It will be difficult to find our weakest point, but even if they find it they need to exploit it and that will be a problem as it was last year(after week4) The young CB and DeJean are only going to get better. I am anxious to see how the vets he brought in do. This team will be tough for many years. It seems to me Fangio likes those versatile LB's who can drop back like a S or help hammer down the edges. IDK how that will look until I see it, but we have a ton of hybrid types. Howie will keep looking at other teams cuts. Going to be alot of fun this year. I'm excited!!!
May 15, 20251 yr Author Trap game could be after the Denver game. Very short time frame before we play the Gnats. That would be the only game they could take off us. I still think we will be fine

So I repeat, spin and conjecture. You clearly can do better … or is the reason you don’t even try to do better because you are afraid we will see the emperor’s new clothes?

At this point any more explaining I’d need to do beyond his on field performance…..

May 16, 20251 yr Our O should take a nice leap forward this season….you know…unless those O mind coaches been here the whole time hold them back still. Pretty challenging to figure out reasoning to praise specifically just those two that have interacted with our O these years concerning anything revolving around X and O football areas. Full credit earned for Siri towards perfecting The Brotherly Shove as the lone exception.
May 16, 20251 yr Clearly underachieving at 7th scoring O and 8th yardage gained. One more season of producing the worst first quarter scoring nobody here will look forward to dealing with me as a result….think this fact has already been realized by all.
May 16, 20251 yr Anything below average, first quarter scoring rank, will just be resume crushing for the coach being buoyed by victory accomplishments of others overcoming him.

Work towards being at the best come win or go home time. Big time games of importance do tend to occur also towards the end of the regular season. First thought examining divisional rivalry game with Division title on the line.
May 16, 20251 yr So in conclusion: absolutely not? A win isn’t just a win no matter what week or whom the opponent is. Foolish oversimplification that just isn’t accurate.
