But it’s what I believe is a fair evaluation about him. See how things play out actually. But that’s his drawback in my view. Which is about all we have in our favor concerning Jayden Daniels in our division.

Now here is the beginnings of an interesting conversation. Let’s dig into your bolded sentence. In 2024 there was no player who gave the Eagles fits more than Daniels. Why do you think that was? What was his "special sauce” that gave the Eagles such fits?

I have my own opinions, but I would like to hear yours.

With that said, I believe the Eagles can bring Daniels down to earth … neutralize him.

Always liked McLaurin, now he has more WR weapons, their RB is healthy again (for now). Defense is OK, not great

but mildly of importance.

It's mildly important to win regular season games?

Look…you really slipped up here. You had to qualify regular season game. Because without that clear exception? SB win results in a championship banner. Lombardi trophy! Parade! Week one win results in…a positive step …but mildly of importance.

That’s just the huge example of where this statement is so very flawed. Qualify things to only regular season games? Then got a whole other list of reasoning this logic is flawed…but at least doesn’t just leave me able to point out that winning the SB is a more important win than week one win over nonconference opponent.

I mean continuing along believing in this statement is so bad….but you didn’t even exempt the biggest game on the planet. Super Bowl MattyWill…that’s the biggest win! No other answer. That win that makes you the champion. Watch what happens after that win. Confetti falls. Crying and hugging. Speeches with awards given. A parade a masses celebrates after that win. Next a banner is hung in the stadium in the rafters to commentate that single win forever.

What parade happens after a week five win over the Titans? What banner hangs in stadiums over any regular season win? Who goes to Disneyworld after being celebrated as player of the game week2?

Your original proposition was regular game to regular game. You subsequently spun in Playoffs and I said immediately don’t be stupid. Apples and oranges.

Playoffs games are obviously different for a wealth of reasons. They are one and done. They don’t go into a Standings table. They can’t end in a tie. Apples and oranges.

Clearly underachieving at 7th scoring O and 8th yardage gained. One more season of producing the worst first quarter scoring nobody here will look forward to dealing with me as a result….think this fact has already been realized by all.

Agree....absolutely can't have a repeat of last year 🙄

Ok sounds good. The Wuss have a difficult schedule, but IMO Dullaz has another year of work ahead. So it's a fair bet

Everything you have described has to do with entertainment. There is no entertainment column in the NFL Standings table.

The Bengals were the most entertaining team in the NFL in 2024. They scored highest on the characteristics you have described. How did that work out for them?

Entertainment value can apply about some ex great player now on a different team in a rematch primetime against his former team. Divisional rivalries are …you know what? This whole discussion is just below discussing. Every single team studies their divisional opponents so much more than any other opponent on the schedule. Every single year. A loss in division also gives that division opponent a win making for a two game difference. AFC opponents can’t beat us out for division title of the NFC East. Only three teams affect us at all concerning winning the NFC East. Wins and losses aren’t the deciding factor for everything. Doesn’t matter how many more or less wins we have against any other NFC division winner towards seeding if we lose the NFC East. Five more wins for us …if we don’t win the NFC East can’t help us towards playing at home in the playoffs over a lesser winning division winner.

9 win NFC South Division winner is above us and host us for a playoff game no matter how many more wins we achieve…if we lose the NFC East.

You really appear to enjoy the cutsie names. I did some thinking about that and your cutsie name now is Monsieur Croque.

I didn’t make the original proposition, you did. As soon as you added the apples and oranges together I called you out for it.

Not what you said

What season has been completely free of tiebreakers factoring into seeding or division titles? Has it ever not mattered? Even all the way up to 17 games ..isn’t a whole lot. Tiebreaking games are significant. Completely can and does control your teams season situation. Final regular season game situation can be completely differing solely surrounding tiebreaker scenarios.

What season can you even sight as it not occurring? NFL is setup based on division winners. Fifth seed I can’t even remember when that team didn’t have better record than the team hosted the playoff matchup possesing the higher seed.

Seedings only happen after the wins and losses are tallied … one game at a time.

You are desperate Monsieur Croque. Does all that spinning make you dizzy or just ditzy?

Explain how it’s equal beating an AFC team in the regular season compared to beating a division rival?

It's mathematically impossible for us to go 16-1 and be seed 5 if another team goes 17-0

Starting out just like last year with the doubts and baloney. Are you a fan of this team? If so you have to believe and you have to believe you can win every week(if you lose you move on aka 1 week at a time) I'm not expecting 14 wins, but 11-12 is definitely doable or are you predicting 7 wins? IMO the NFC still goes through Philly. Opponents will have to prove me wrong

What spinning? Simply pointing out the endless numerous examples proving everything against your opinion? "Seedings only happen after wins” yeah no crap….what would be any significance derived from gaining any win?

No, Monsieur Croque, the NFL is set up in the Standings table. There is no Division winner in Week One, but there typically are 16 winners and 16 losers. No Division winner in Week Two, but 16 more games. Rinse and repeat for 16 more weeks.

Division winners only come into play in the oranges part of the season. You keep wanting to squirm out of your stupid statement, but the numbers don’t lie if you compare apples to apples like you did in your original proposition.

Apples and oranges. Show me an NFL Standings table with Playoffs games in it. You say numerous … show me the numbers.
