May 16, 20251 yr This season should define Saquan pressure moment qualities for his career. Can try and explain away his so very few shortcomings last season on just having so little experience facing these situations. It’s good to have areas to place a chip on the shoulder about…defined reasoning to propel focus forward as driving factors. Some of the greatest, thinking specifically of the greatest Hurts pal Michael Jordan…even seemed to manufacture any reasoning to even carry just a perceived chip on his shoulder to drive him. All time season by Saquan…but still things to identify as weakness and needing improvement. He really can’t afford to flounder again in such a key moment. Everybody fumbles or makes mistakes….it will be career defining if he does it when the game is on line again…thinking that easy catch dropped that one’s the victory. Him not producing again in our final game would clearly qualify as well. Think it’s a good learning and teaching growth lesson here to grab hold of. Absolutely unbelievable season Saquan put together! Aa fantastic a season as any football player has ever produced arguably. Even in that highest of glorious accomplishment can it still be fair to point out negatives and shortcomings. Not everything can be rainbows and butterflies…that’s a myth and flawed view of reality.

In those counts each individual game result counts one in the standings, never more and never less. A Division loss counts one. A Conference loss counts one. A non-Conference loss counts one. It is a zero sum game. A loss in any individual week puts the losing team one game behind each of the winning teams that week (half a game behind a Bye Week team). Who the opponent is makes no difference in that universal truth. With that said, this conversation started by you asserting that the Eagles were harmed by the decision to not maximize the production of the Offense, and I responded that with an over 14 point margin of victory in the last 17 games of the season, more points wouldn’t have resulted in any appreciable increase in where the Eagles were in the NFL standings. As you often do, you morphed the discussion to Tiebreakers when you knew you were on the wrong side of the facts.

It was acknowledging and accepting self awareness….that his true greatness shined highest. Did plenty of great parts for this organization the whole time. But even when evaluating him you can point to embarrassingly lowest of moments. He actually screwed things up to such incredibly incompetent levels ….that was possibly all that saved his job here. Was nothing but a steady decline after our organizations first ever parade was earned. Could describe that as not unexpected even…in many ways. Can point to specific decisions after decision could only be graded as fire-able. Yet then got all the way to here. Years and years he had even enviable successes. Yet he had such flaws holding too much back. Ego needing to be fed. Applied in so many differing areas. Wouldn’t hire coaches that anybody could take credit of success away from him. Much less how those top deserving coaches always come with levels of controlling demands. Team building philosophy flaws. His conclusion of don’t pay or invest in RB, LB or S. Can really stress just how well things went for us when those position rooms were actually not so incapable. Draft picks, vet pickups…most any area of football evaluating. Rosie so consistently found great success when listening to football guys to make these choices. The choices that can most be surrounded by Rosie evaluations are just too often the failures. Self awareness of thriving within one’s role. Relying on qualified pros to execute their roles. Growing and developing…especially improving weak areas. I was kind and patient for the most part …just listing out in the so many ways that idea was so very flawed. "A win is just a win” that’s the statement of stupidity. May 16, 20251 yr Persistent stupidity is crossing the line. I admit to you being exposed to a poor example of these surroundings as your introduction. I’ll take large share of blame for that on. I was pouring things on especially thick. Ideally this board should be educational and entertaining. But lashing out stating persistent stupidity I hope is an aberration from you. Would hope it’s beneath your character. That even applies to if your assessment was even in the ballpark of accurrate. Not sure what you would be looking for here from me? Are you wishing for unworthy bad stated opinions surrounding all games being equal…to just slide forward unchallenged? Should expectations be for an entire place completely specifically designed around die hard football people to just accept such inaccurate assessments about …football?

You can not find any example where an individual win is worth more than 1 in the Standings table. Nor can you find any example where an individual loss is worth more than 1 in the Standings table. To believe 1 is not equal to 1 is stupidity. Talk to any mathematics professor and they will tell you that insisting 1 is not equal to 1 will get you a grade of F.I stand by my assessment … your stupidity is persistent.

May 16, 20251 yr Per Jack Andrade of the NFL Network "The Eagles will be the first reigning Super Bowl champions to play consecutive games (Weeks 2-4) against each of the 3 teams to most-recently win the Super Bowl before them (Chiefs in 2022/23 seasons, Rams in 2021 season & Buccaneers in 2020 season)”. May 16, 20251 yr Everybody should understand a game isn’t just a game. Priorities should clearly begin with the SB game and work down from there. Playoff games….season ending games where it’s clearly defined stakes. I mean what fan doesn’t understand divisional rivalry? Eagles fans that are kids even clearly know divisional games much more important than just any old regular season game. You lose to the Browns? Just A loss. You lose twice to a division rival so much more than just two losses. It’s also two steps ahead for your divisional opponent against you. Really put you in a hole if a divisional challenger sweeps you. That’s two losses for you while they gain two wins….handing over the tiebreaker advantage to them for the divisional title. You can have how ever many number of wins….more than all the other Conference teams but one that resides in your own division…and what is your seeding ceiling for the playoffs? You could have the second most wins in the entire NFL…yet have to play on the road the entire playoffs.
