It's mathematically impossible for us to go 16-1 and be seed 5 if another team goes 17-0

Starting out just like last year with the doubts and baloney. Are you a fan of this team? If so you have to believe and you have to believe you can win every week(if you lose you move on aka 1 week at a time) I'm not expecting 14 wins, but 11-12 is definitely doable or are you predicting 7 wins? IMO the NFC still goes through Philly. Opponents will have to prove me wrong

But I’ll turn the later statement into applying now. I do have areas of doubt. Sure. But very different from last season.

This actually is true. Impossible to lose division only suffering one loss with a team we play twice not ever losing. Totally have no choice but to give you this win. The rest of the statement is garbage. Me pointing out a thousand examples of how the NFL is fundamentally designed was never related to anything I thought about our team or season.

But then you said another team in our division goes 17-0. The odds of that are beyond astronomical

Can’t not have doubts about Saquan having a lesser season. Every analytic has pointed towards high probabilities after such a workload the following season…heck career at RB. Can’t ignore how unusual a RB not declining the following season after such a fantastic season would be also.

Someone goes 17-0 and we go 16-1? I have a better chance of hitting every lottery every week for a year

We are planning on relieving him more than last year(opinion), so that is to be expected with less snaps

First one doesn’t count. He was nursing an injury. But the NFCCG that was a Fangio masterpiece.

Well....see my breakdown of the games in my earlier post....you can see where Ham has a point being discouraged at the 7th ranking.

Argue the Jets can contend this season …or anything thing else…as a favor I’m pleading to you…for your benefit.

Contend for what?

Well you were correct mathematically impossible ti suffer only one loss while losing the division to an undefeated team. Odds is a whole other discussion. Odds anybody goes undefeated are tough. But let’s just stick in the lane of routine reality in the NFL here. Step way back there now…again. Happens very very often that the second best conference record belongs to a team losing their division to the team with the best record. Vikings had that fantastic record some how last season. Yet lost division to the Lions. Capped their season ceiling at fifth seed road playoffs path. Didn’t they win the same amount as we did even?

So admitting FL math fact…you can go 15-2 and not gain a home advantage playoff game as the fifth seed. Gotta win your division first. Doesn’t matter at all how many more wins you achieve if you are a wild card comparing towards any division winner.

DUH

Pulling Hurts from the hero ball ranks made the difference

Reality escapes you proposing more than astronomical odds

Vikings exactly that team that had a ceiling they accomplished. Able to win all those regular season games. Yet at the end? Nothing. Lost to the Lions with the division title and number one seed on the line. Not winning a playoff game. Just weren’t even any real legit contending team ever.

14 regular season wins….a team was going nowhere.

We won the SB I don't really care about last years other teams

2024 Vikings. Poster team of exactly how much lesser significance should surround that just win week by week prioritized approach. Who cares? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

There you go. Exactly! First priority and goal. Win the SB is what matters. All I’ve ever been saying this whole time.

Rather be that Giants team made the playoffs as the last seed getting hot and win the SB every time than 14 win 2024 Vikes

The Lions won that week,so they accomplished winning that 1 game that week. Win 1 game every week and you,win the SB

If a team has a super cake schedule you'd expect them to have a better record?(why schedules matter) If we are the 5 seed are you scared of playing a higher seed if you have a better team? I love home field advantage, but that's not the only thing.

It’s an advantage like you just labeled it. To be very specific : sometimes it really becomes very key…where exact specific matchup takes place. But mostly I’m a believer in just needing the key guys healthy as possible for the games that matter.

Getting the ball in the elite players hands. The elite unit is the OL...while a top pass blocking unit...we all know they thrive as they get more run blocking snaps as the game progresses.

Look how they lit up the scoreboard. I think there is still some Andy Reid dumb mentality that running the ball means conservative. I don't think so. You get 10 yards at a time...stopping the Eagles from doing that is much harder when they run the ball and put the offense in front of the chains.

I agree with Ham 💯 on the slow starts early in the year...the common theme was a pass happy 1st quarter. That isn't our best style.

Put the opponent on their heels...run at them. Slow down the pass rush...and get them into single coverage on 3rd and short...we then have the entire playbook. Stop a 2000 yard RB, a running QB, 2 stud WRs and a blocking/ YAC TE on 3rd and short.... good luck.. too many things to defend. You have to both guess the play and win at the line first... just to even have a shot. Then still move or broken tackle by Barkley or Hurts...a catch in traffic by our stud WRs... all those types of plays Goedert can do as well.

So much more difficult to stop, especially after just having to defend run plays that set up the upcoming play.

We lit up the scoreboard after we figured it out. Plays to the strength of the entire offense while both lighting up the scoreboard and keeping the defense fresh.

Rams was a challenge. Home field could be argued made a difference for us there. The whole season biggest obstacle was always going to beat Detroit…in Detroit it would have needed to be done. Not saying reason we should have feared or belief we wouldn’t have prevailed….but….i definitely was very much thinking the entire season they were the biggest obstacle…they earned in Detroit.

With healthy starting QB preferred over home much lesser. Name any significant player really.

But matchups are so key. Can’t just ignore those entirely.

Sure….deep thoughts…which mean what? No clue. Be at your best ready to face as many varying circumstances at the end is most likely path towards success. Start the season 0-4 but improve better than 4-0 but regress.

9 regular season wins but get hot playing your best at the end winning in the postseason

Or

15 wins going into the playoffs like we did in 2023 season?
