Ongoing Eagles New Discussion volume 2

It is interesting that we are having this conversation now. The reason is that over on the blog we had this conversation last week. The bottom line of what you are saying is that Mahomes crapped his bed. The pushback that quite a few people on the blog gave to that was that by saying Mahomes crapped his bed you were disrespecting the Eagles defense and what that eagle defense did. For them it wasn’t about Mahomes and Mahomes Legacy as you were referencing in your comment it was much more about the Eagles defense and the Eagles defensive legacy. There isn’t any right answer to it and I think that somewhere in between those two poles a comfort area mom wasn’t up to his best performances, but he was not up to his best performances because of the defense he was facing, and I would add he was not up to his best performance because Andy crapped the bed with regard to his plan.

The agenda doesn't change regardless of how many times or how intensely you bang your head against the wall.

You have much more experience than I do. Many many more lectures

I mean when the opinion shared is "if Hurts can throw a five yard pass”

Definitely getting a lecture of my superior opinion on our leader that at 26 was MVP runner up, OPoY award winner and SB MVP. On a HOF path for sure.

From an Eagles fan.

I never said "IF", we all know he can do that. Once again twisting adding, replacing words. Taking posts out of context, sending them to the chop shop, so they return unrecognizable and trying to sell them as "original"

I doubt that

I don't, because I counted them

But yeah…FL if you no matter what is said you refuse to consider or except …no matter how overwhelming everything is pointed out against your opinion…then there is no discussion taking place there anyway. Anyway…was a discussion or two forced me to realize this about you…didn’t matter how much patience or how much effort I put in…just nothing was going to matter or effect you.

You are merely posting reruns of the same material we have discussed 50 times already, but yeah, keep living in your dream world. Your patience and effort mean nothing when it's repetitious to the point of being absurd and we all have to read you talking to yourself convincing yourself of your own opinion and as far as constant LECURING, there is no discussion in a lecture. Your "effort" are pre written speeches we have all heard 150 times. You harp on the same BS we've heard for years. My comprehension skills are fine and I get tired of repeating my answers, only to have them come back later as twisted train wrecks of what was actually said

Really do feel like some really dumb opinions been going on way too much. Now differing…isn’t dumb. Siri love? Not dumb. I personally felt a need to adapt my opinion on him even. Thought he took a big step up this past season. Felt he galvanized our team around the way he fought when being faced with being fired. That guy isn’t just backing off going down with Moore in control. He was taking over controlling his fate when his head was on the block. Losing to the Browns he would have been fired. Really believe that was the situation…most importantly he believed it was.

Dumb-expecting collapses when players get married. Dumb- Calling others "haters" because you are blinded in the light of your Hurts god addiction. Dumb-Having an agenda that always comes back to "Hurts runs this team and cannot function without him" and "Hurts is the reason we win" Dumb-wallowing on your own self worth thinking you know everything there is. Stupid- doing nothing but degrading others opinions or to alter your narcistic behavior

You responded to the Hurts 5 yard comment, but ignored the nasty demeaning names you choose to use.

Did you purposely choose to respond to just the Hurts comment?

The 5 yard comment I made was/is misstated as usual. Hurts is his world, don't poke his bubble

I always say "TD O line!!!!" which sets Ham off

Your blinders are showing. Of course Safety was going to be an offseason challenge since both 2021 starters moved on … Harris retired and McLeod left in Free Agency.

Ham wants Pro bowlers at every position with all pro BU's. I would love that also, then...................... there is realty. In Hams defense I also call Siriani "Siri"

I want this to be the only offensive play we use coming out out the bye going to Lambeau. Just rotate Hurts, Barkley and Van Summerin, maybe let Mailata have a snap or 3 🤣Make GB eat it

Thanks to Jalen Hurts for convincing the owners to keep the play. This is top 2 things he has done while being an Eagle... the other is convincing the Titans not to pay AJ.

Apparently 2 votes short....so my guess, it either gets banned next year... or they don't even address it for a while.

I expect the latter. However, if the Eagles want to get on Goodell’s good side they could come up with wording of a proposal themselves that addresses the issue.

They(GB) reworded it to make it more effective and still lost. Now we need to learn how to defend it as it will be on every teams "to do" list. Once every team becomes accomplished at this we will have......rugby

Excellent comment that relates to how Howie has evolved in his execution of his job.

The 2019 and 2020 drafts were a mess. The team lost their way. It was reported that Howie hadn't really figured out the balance between scouts, coaches, and analytics. Wentz was still the focus.

They've been locked in since then.

2 votes short from banning. Suck it hahaha

Imagine someone's whole purpose as a fan is to throw shade on Sirianni and Roseman.

It takes an incredible amount of effort to be that kinda of jack arse with that level of loser mentality.

Imagine somebody just slurps up everything either does…of you don’t have to imagine

Sure if you are so completely forced to be faced with actually doing something because you were just so ignoring a whole position group…then you could consider hunting for a mandatory trade as the last ditch effort. Ceedy Duce being traded from

Saints was more luck than great team building plan. Same with Bradbery being thrown at you for your rival.

Andy’s history as the coach of the Eagles was that he was so committed to passing that his Offenses became one dimensional … and as a result easy to defend. When the Defensive Coordinator knows the running game is off the table, half of his job is done for him. The resources he would have to devote to stopping the run can be redeployed toward stopping the pass. It makes the numbers game much much easier. It also frees up individual players to be able in individual plays to be free to roam because no Offensive player is in his zone. That is what DeJean was able to do in the interception play. His zone was the midrange flat and no Chief went into that zone. So, from a location very near the sidelines the was obscured from Mahomes’ vision. He could see Mahomes though, and as Mahomes went through his progressions DeJean was able to anticipate the throw and break on the ball. A classic forced error.

Yeah it was obscured…the guy in green only guy right there ahead of him right there. Obscured by what? The tall blade of grass between them.

He kept bringing back the Vikings S that had already proven to be done

One year later … Shady was drafted in 2019 .

Drafted in 2009..only a decade off

Tush Push vote was 22-10

Ironically the same as the Score last season in the playoffs against the Packers
