Unfortunately for KC...the Mahomes deal will always be an orange..lol

Doesn’t have to be. They still have time to move money into void years. They just have to decide to do it. Mahomes should like it because it helps the FO build a better team around him.

Seems you are the ignorant one….i knew they could dominate most the season once they got the O down. Which was proven…at the end. No reason they held back that super talented O backed up with that elite D.

Ham, the bolded part of your quote below directly above contradicts what you are saying in your quote above. How do you explain that contradiction? In the quote below you are saying the Eagles barely squeaked by and in the quote above you are saying they dominated. How do you dominate and squeak by simultaneously?

Yeah still really feel that way. But it still worked out. We got far enough at the last second.

His performances without AJ? With Reagor instead of AJ….hr still overcame Siri’s crap start…in his crap O to make the playoffs. Floor for Hurts is a playoff team.

Of course you pay the elite QB leader. No brainer! Just try to throw money at him. He’ll just do whatever it takes to overcome Siri and win!

When he renews/extends in 2028 what do you think he will get paid?

The Cap can only roll just so far. Eventually the bill does come due when the rolling stops.

When is that?

When the player and the team cut ties or the player retires.

LOL... my question " when" was referring to 2029 ... not the actual obvious rule.

But this article started off great with the first sentence... good thing I wasn't drinking when I read it ... I would have spit out all over my computer!!!!!

" The Dallas Cowboys have done a masterful job in planning ahead when it comes to cap space"

LOL this is the funnies thing I've read in a while

They held back the O... with those scores?

So you expect big money offers outside of the Eagles in 2029?

But moving money down the road is exactly what Howie does.

Again, I just don't think you are getting the concept of what I'm trying to say. you are just arguing to argue. Hurts contract written where no need for retructure, Mahomes already 3 changes and will need more... still have more cap hits than Hurts in every year with possible exception of 2029.

The deal by Howie was written way better. The KC looks good on paper, but as time goes will have increased cap hits down the road.

Because it is how he plays both sides and never admits he is wrong... he just spins the narrative. It's why he will never answer a direct question with a simple answer, it exposes him to possible failure. Narcassistic personalities cant admit to failure, they have to avoid situations where failure is an option.

Oh yeah, good luck getting an actual number.... lol

I agree we are talking past one another. My perspective is that this is all a fluid situation, and Kansas City is simply doing reactively in a step by step process what Howie did/does proactively in an all at once process. That reactive process will probably take two or three more annual steps, and I fully expect they will end up in very much the same place as Howie is. For me it is all about the numbers.

On the other hand I am beginning to sense that you don’t see that evolutionary process happening. In essence you appear to be saying, "If they haven’t gone there by now, they won’t ever go there.” That was the bottom-line of your "They’ll always be an orange.” Comment.

I just don’t see any point in comparing an apple to an orange, when all it takes is some number shuffling to make that orange into an apple.

Think it’s consistent….Siri got out of the way and the O flourished

Well it certainly worked out well for the Eagles

We'll have to wait until the end of next season to see how it works for the Niners

26 mil for 12 games….that’s way worse than the Pats deal for Milton. Rosie stepped in it on that move I know doubt believe was pretty much just all on him. Let the football guys do the evaluating. Fangio has been knocking out of the park. Just seemed like such an obvious situation with Huff being a product of his environment with the Jets.

Feel like he offset that move by going against his every philosophy and paying the RB. On the positive note believe Saquan was also pretty much a Rosie move. At least Siri didn’t try to start Gainwell over Barkley this season.

Basically Howie swapped Reddick for Huff... and then cut bait...but got 2 picks out of it. Basically same cap hit as if we kept Reddick last year.

But we had to pay Reddick to play for the Jets. 26 mil it cost us got 12 games of Huff. Yet you. Complained on and on about the Pats, who have basically nothing but cap room, paying that to Milton.

The first quote of yours says the did NOT flourish. You said they barely made it to the finish line "at the last second.” Read your own words.

And who we got in the next draft for 9 million (plus their rookie salary) I'm going to venture they won't be worth the 10-11 million. Every GM eats crow now and then, but Howie cut bait on a bad deal and saved us 7+ million and got another draft pick, so as long as you are taking a loss, minimize it

26 mil for a guy not even worthy to be a third stringer to suit up for the SB. 12 games. Terrible! But he sure showed Reddick.

5 hours ago, GreenbleedinNC said:

LOL they weren't being held back, they were learning to grow together as a unit......after the bye they BEGAN to gel and kept getting better. Not real hard to grasp

Siri deliberately held back such an elite O….we’ll just never really know….but all indications are could have been tossing up that Double Nickel score during the regular season. But…wouldn’t want to throw it too much to that AJ guy. Wouldn’t want to utilize Smitty but least possible also. You guys just slurp down that Siri was brilliant for taking a 50 point scoring O and holding them back….like worst first quarter scoring team in the league held back. Under McVay they probably reached 70.

He didn’t let them run the O until the Steelers game. Then Hurts got injured. So yeah…just got it in at the last second indeed.

But at least we got much closer to providing our guys with a pro O scheme.

Reddick was a locker room cancer. He's not worth a plug nickel, yet you'd LOVE to pay him MILLIONS and create issues so you can yack about them Mr. TMZ

Last three games unleashed averaged 41 points a game
