It wasn’t about ever throwing to Gainwell there. Hurts and AJ changed the call to take the shot one on one with AJ.

Hurts changed the call.  Not AJ.

At 10-1 Hurts is talking about not playing up to the standard. Hadn’t  putting everything together still.

Hurts and AJ decided to do this is what I heard

Wasn't one on one as the safety was right there.   " see the field " it has been my issue from day 1.  Won't change.  No matter how many old ladies Hurts helps cross the street.

FL and others can blame him for the teams collapse….but he was straight telling you the whole time there were major issues

Hurts is the QB...it's his call.   Show me a WR that doesn't suggest that the QB throw him the ball... that's the QBs job.

You’ve had a billion issues with Hurts since day one. Were totally against him being a starting caliber QB.

I don’t take any blame away from Hurts on that decision. Thought I blamed him for it in fact. It was the results of the guys just being so frustrated in the O play calling really. Took matters into their own hands. Just needed to convert the fourth down there though. Bad decision.

Yet you bash Hurts so heavily over having a completely inexperienced OC backed up by our HC Siri. How I’ve always understood things…having played the game….the coach comes up with the gameplan…calls the plays…sets expectations and understandings to his players. Coach wants this to happen with this play…when reading this from the D..and so on. In a bad situation for each playcall clearly identified by the coach he wishes things to be changed and proceed according to his philosophies and plans. If a coach comes with a bad game plan…then is bad at playcalling….yet can’t express to his players adjustments to be made? No player will be successful.

How long has Hurts been here?? he even played his rookie year when Wentz was our QB. How many years does it take? He's starting to look like DAK. Can't compete in the clutch. He still is an AVERAGE passer. Caches don't create talent out of thin air,you have it or you don't

Not really... I have had 2 issues with Hurts...  see the field and make the throw.  I've said his throwing has gotten better... seeing the field and decision making is his issue.

Idk how many times I have to repeat it.

The dorky clichés ..how much he squats... whether he smiles enough...I could care less.... see the field and make a throw.  999, 999, 999, 998 issues less than a billion for me with Hurts.

You probably blamed him...just can't bring yourself to type it on here.

The O playcalling was just abysmal in that Seattle game. Really understood the book was out on our O then.

Was it 4th down?

"There’s nothing to be satisfied about.” Hurts stated.

Hurts’ tone diverged from that of his colleagues. Sure, everyone on the Eagles values improvement and growth. But they also recognize that what they’re doing, and what Hurts in particular is doing with his continued big plays in big moments, is special.

And big bonehead plays

6 comebacks and 8 game winning drives already at age 25. Only one season college or pros with same OC though.

That really worked great losing the last few games didn't it??

Hurts was definitely part of the issues.  From a player perspective... he takes on the most blame...he makes the most decisions.   The other players,  other coaches and the roster not being good enough...all were part of it.

People giving Hurts share of the blame just seems like something you refuse to do. Or exaggerate what we say....similar to my 2 issues being 1 billion.

Except against the better teams

Hurts’ late-game magic has helped lift the Eagles from a good team to a great one. That prompted Eagles veteran defensive end Brandon Graham to compare Hurts to Tom Brady, who led 58 game-winning drives in his 23-year career.

So great we haven't won a SB with him yet

Yeah....Graham is more football savant or cheerleader?   We all know it's cheerleader...that's why he is likable.

Pretty incredible to take a 4 win team to such levels at such a young age
