Wow... someone simply saying my bad... very refreshing to see that. Glad you didn't wait until May 2.

I thought about holding out 🤣

In a nutshell I have no idea what this means. But I also hope Kellen Moore does a good job. Not going to act like I’m not skeptical. It’s far from any sure thing. Not like he can fall back on Siri for help…that’s a proven fact.

Hurts-college RPO you don't know what that is???

If he was disruptive we would have let him walk

Or more what I'm saying ....didn't have the confidence and focus.

First thing he said...with just enough attitude .." I don't worry about what people say"   love it.

He comes off that he is all business and very confident in his ability and focused on his job.

I hope he is EXACTLY THAT behind closed doors.

He clearly works extremely hard and is dedicated in his craft. Reason to be confident. He just knows better than to be brash to the media. Don’t believe he’s really super humble though. Just a smart guy that understands how to play the media games,

I would be skeptical of every OC working with Hurts.   Skeptical he can fix the vision decision making.

Giving you benefit of the doubt anyway of at some point it could happen.

I wasn't talking about the soap opera stuff.. yet it's ironic that you think of that right away?

Yeah... that's the deadline where the Eagles need to offer me my contract before the 2045 money kicks in.    Same relevance as May 2 had

NFL RPO you mean since it’s all across the league

So how many run first QB's have won SB's say in the last 15-20 years? The greats are all passing QB's

For the few run first guys maybe, the REAL passers run  play action

I think Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have won most all of them. So the list of not being just either of those two guys is very limited.

Just those crappy Patrick Mahomes level QBs running college RPOs

The signing bonus can’t be that big. This year on top of his cap number wouldn’t be as big if a deal. But a huge signing bonus number divided on top of next year’s guaranteed fifth year option? You’re getting into the twenties of millions on the cap then.

Signing bonus is $20.3 mil... cap hit is $8 mil next year ( year 5)

Say the signing bonus was $40 million..  do you understand the math to where it's an extra $20 mil divided by 5 years...

Would still make the cap hit only $13 mil

Again...a simple " my bad... as I assumed exercising the option for year 5 on May 2, meant that the Eagles were locked into the $15.5 mil salary for 2025"

That wouldn't be difficult to say would it?   But you can't do it???

Joe Burrow, Allen, Tua, Purdy…..most of the league runs RPOs.

My bad... i messed up the math.   A $40 mil signing bonus would have added only $4 more mil to next year's cap hit.

MY BAD... that's a total of $12 mil cap hit not $13 mil.

Again MY BAD.

20 mil signing bonus I had guessed it around 17. Not too far off.

Yeah... that's great...  what about the fact you thought the cap hit was going to be in the low 20s... why was that?

It's ok...a simple " my bad"  I didn't understand what exercising the 5th year option meant.

Smith would have needed an $80 mil signing bonus to create a $20 mil cap hit next year.   Was that what you meant by the bonus couldn't be too big or the cap hit next year goes in the low 20s?

I was wrong on that. I did think accepting his fifth year option actually meant accepting the terms that go along with the fifth year option. I’ll need to brush up on my pro agent classes here again.

Can’t be perfect on everything. Even I mess up occasionally. Had the timing nailed down of when the contract would be finalized. Had the amount annually. Only three mil off in the signing bonus. But didn’t understand accepting the fifth year option …didn’t exactly mean accepting the fifth year option. Learn as I go.

Or you could have changed the subject or spun it somehow???   Absolutely shocking a quick my bad... what am I to do with that?

How about in all of the SBs?
