Obviously desire as many as possible. But comes down to entire team situation. Could be a choice between another Oline, DB or FB for the 53rd spot. But…they made that choice last season…so not a question of would they.

You need to pre determine that amount, then decide if it's worth taking up a valuable roster spot. If there aren't enough zigs to go around, that player shouldn't take up a roster spot. How about just executing the ZAGS? Seemed to work fine last year. And while I'm a super fan of ZIGS(see Philly Special) those were made with the zag players LOL

I'm also anxious for preseason so I can get some eyeballs on the BU TE play. And it sounds so far like Mr. Cooks is going to displace another WR. AJ, Smitty, Cooks/Dotson, Maybe Wilson sticks. If you go with 5 that would open a spot for BVS or carrying RB4. From what I have been hearing Avery will take up a spot as a returner, so that 53rd spot seems to be way more competitive this year. We have so much talent here our cuts will be scooped up by needy teams. We all bished for years to get younger and still be a great team. A "mission impossible" won by Howie. I'm hearing good things about QB3 even. I wear my gear in Panther country with pride because there isn't anything to say to me except "your team rocks". I'm still after my daughter to get on board with my team and drop the Pats BS. I may have her convinced. She's getting closer to reality every week. My next door neighbors are Vikes fans. As I put my "ELGSES" flag out on gamedays I get lot of waves, they don't(week 7 will be fun!!!!). Ready for another Lombardi. Let's do it. I'm flying higher on this team more than I have at anytime as a fan

You aren't sure about what Reddick did because you don't want to look into it and go against your theories... that's what you do....you die on the hill of an issue because you refuse to research anything against yourself.

So what did Reddick do? Did he massively outperform his contract? Did he not suck it up the second year without getting a raise? Seems like you have a very good understanding about how Rosie extends guys early. So was the writing not all over the walls decided by Rosie? Did Reddick demand a trade? You really don’t see the connection to where Rosie had a clear beef? You don’t see any possible connection to where Rosie made the deal with his trusted buddy Douglas? If you didn’t understand Douglas and Rosie still had a good relationship then…you clearly should now after Rosie brought him right back first moment after he was fired.

OT-watched an interesting basketball league tourney last night. There is no time clock. First team to 85 points advances. IDK much else about it, other than they were not "city" teams, just made up names like Fantasy. Very weird but interesting

Which team paid Reddick....he got his market value...didn’t he?

We all know Rosie was totally in control of that. Have little doubt he directly coached Douglas how he should handle it. So yeah..the situation killed Reddick’s market value. A guy that performed at such an elite level for two years for us…just wanted to get paid. Normal. He was just looking to get fairly compensated….he had no money left guaranteed on his contract. I mean just crazy that a player playing fantastic actually wanted to get paid for his job. Rosie wasn’t going to pay him…zero guaranteed money left.

So you give Siri all the credit for the success of the offense over these last few years. The best 4 year period in Eagles history ?

Not at all. Clearly our fantastic players willed their way overcoming such a pathetic O scheme. OCs overcoming….well Johnson couldn’t overcome the inevitable Collapse. I was telling you at 10-1 it was coming and there was a problem. You and others…just labeled me negative…instead at 10-1 you considered us the best team that was unstoppable….you disagreed that any issue was present…because hey…team is 10-1. After The Collapse, I would have assumed you’d realized the error in your logic and understanding. But you don’t even get there in hindsight.

Dude...you are clueless about what's going on in the locker room. But you know more than all the beat writers who cover the team every day. AJ is one of if not the most popular guy in the locker room. He loves it here too. Everything about it here.

He didn't come to play with his friend.. lol. Time to stop your delusion. Not funny anymore

I don’t think he loves it here so much. I’ve actually listened to him speak with Gilly and others. Even listen to his champion parade speech. He doesn’t hide just how absurd he feels the Eagles fans are.

But let’s just lay it out there flat out. Gentleman’s wager…I’m saying I don’t believe AJ will still be here three or especially four years from now…for multiple reasons. So you are so confident he will? Then the wager I suggest is loser has to begin his next thirty posts after…with a very simple admittance…”The best most knowledgeable fan on here is…(state the winner of the wager’s name).”

So Siri takes all the credit. For all the greatness and players thriving in this offense the last 4 years. Got it.

The Collapse was thriving? Siri start was thriving? It was the weakest scheme in the entire NFL…not even slightly. Steichen bailed him out. Then Moore was exactly deceived into coming here to construct an actual scheme for Siri and capably teach O to our players. Siri just telegraphed our playcalls to the opponent and our players still worked to overcome that massive disadvantage.

Took the fourth season and Moore to have such a giant leap to….wait for it…just an acceptable pro level O scheme. Wohooo…just getting Siri’s O to the level of decent..acceptable…brought a parade. Think there’s plenty there actually proving flat out how much Siri has been holding us back.

Key is we’ve overcome all that needed development for Siri. That’s in the past now. Moore…just a qualified level of OC…nothing special…I’m not even a big fan of…showed just how huge the gap was between Siri previous O and getting to mediocre was.

List the reasons. He will be 32 in 4 years. Him not being here would surprise you at that age? Like you have some mystic crystal ball quality stating the obvious? He will run out of gas with age like EVERY OTHER PLAYER. Stop thinking you have the keys to superior thought process. It gets old. He will play as long as he is able to play. No one on earth will sign a 32 year old WR to a long term deal. AND?????

Ctab fries... $17.50. Those fries are great...but that's a lot. Phillies game the lines are so long you miss and inning or two in line. The Eagles games are a completely different story.... just need bathrooms as the fans are all hammered drunk. My 11 year old wants to go.... I told him in about 10 years or so you can go, to the new stadium, you won't see a game at the Linc.

Yeah I can’t expose my daughter(9) to the Linc…really pretty sad things have to be like that.

I research so obviously very extensively…endlessly…that’s how I form opinions. Doesn’t make all my thoughts absolutely correct…but it’s not from lacking searching for Eagles knowledge. Not many days pass by where I don’t have a single thought about the Eagles.

Smitty and Baun back injuries are concerning at this point. Have you heard about how Carter even injured himself? AJ hamstring injury should equate to just shutting him down until week one. If they mismanage this injury into the regular season? Be ready for some pissed off rants!

This has been the Passing Era and evolution of the NFL. Every team mostly plays Nickle D. Specialists and finesse players have risen. We went counter to finesse and went physical. Punch your lighter finesse players paid prioritizing coverage abilities right in the mouth.

It really seemed like this day would never arrive for us Eagles fans. How fantastic is it that it wasn’t achieved by a bunch of punk thug athletes also? Most all of our players are so very easy to root for and support.

Myles Garrett gets traded to Detroit? That would suck. Imagine if we pulled off trading for Garrett?

You state the obvious then "call it" like no one else had the same thought. When did I disagree with the obvious????? What's great is how Howie collects draft picks. When it's time for AJ to leave the sport, we will have NP taking WR 1 in any draft and of course everyone wants to play for the SB winner which still has many years of "window" left. Even with league parity efforts, we are about as close to "dynasty" as anyone will get for awhile. I'm planning on a few more Lombardi's to call it that. Losing AJ to retirement is not the end of the world. I'm also fully confident in McKee if Hurts got injured. I'd like us to get some young hungry TE in. I thought we would draft one last draft, but we should find a high end one. As we saw, we can put our BU squad out there and still kick arse. Nice position to be in for more Lombardis. It's like Howie has and keeps us rebuilding continuously. The last drafts have all been amazingly superior to anyone else

Key being team needs. That favors a short yardage RB that can block…to compliment the RB room. Kind of harsh on Saquan not being his strength in short yardage TD punching it in. Would prefer to give Saquan less blocking snaps to increase his durability/effectiveness…especially just want him as fresh as possible at the end. Take a little load off just feels wise.

Hurts is the short yardage back. What is most needed is an injury insurance back to spell Saquon or step in for him if he is injured.

Nice catch, didn't notice that glaring error

Not so sure it was an error. It possibly went so far as predicting the trade before the deadline.
