SMH,IDK why we are waiting on Simmons. He's dying to play here. brown hasn't shown he can stay on the field. Makuba could be excellent IN TIME and we could use the depth anyhow. This is the only area where we could be a little weak. My vote is to grab Simmons while we can

Been out of the loop for awhile need to lock back in with FF right around the corner and the preseason starting though.

Been hearing our rookie LB has been looking good though

Aren’t we planning to play Coop at S this year though? Though guess the plan is for him to still drop in the slot as the nickel CB as well so definitely need a 3rd S.

Or at least that is what I heard awhile ago no clue if that plan has changed lol

That’s exactly what I’ve been telling you has been working so well…Zig…while most are zagging. Now you’re putting it together.

LMAO the running game has already been there unless you missed the effect Barkley has on this team. We already zigged and you are late to the game LOL

Seen the depth chart for the 1st PS game Keyon Green listed as the backup LG said he isn’t even competing for the RG spot which seems odd.

Sydney Brown is listed as the starter at S opposite Reed Blankenship

Trot is getting the nod to start as well nice to see.

Adoree Jackson is the other starting outside CB did here early on he was having a solid camp

I need to watch Trey Lance more for a fantasy QB. He was sharp in his first pre game. I normally get late round picks in FF,so he could be an option if the top 3-4 are gone. At least as a sleeper BU

We have some tough decisions ahead. Our cuts will be snapped up because we're cutting very good players. All I'm saying is Simmons is a pro bowler who wants to reunite with Fangio and with the injuries still there we could use the depth anyway. of course Simmons would start if we shelled out the loot. I'm just a tad leary about that spot. I certainly could be wrong and they will all be ready to go. It would just be a shame to let Simmons go by and the people we have are not ready to roll. Apparently the FO feels they all will be,thus the foot dragging on Simmons. But the guy is hungry to win and this is the team that will give him that chance

OFFENSE

QB: Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Kyle McCord

RB: Saquon Barkley, Will Shipley, A.J. Dillon, Montrell Johnson, Keilan Robinson, ShunDerrick Powell

FB: Ben VanSumeren

WR: A.J. Brown, Johnny Wilson, Elijah Cooks, Darius Cooper

WR: DeVonta Smith, Terrace Marshall, Giles Jackson, Ife Adeyi

WR: Jahan Dotson, Ainias Smith, Avery Williams, Taylor Morin

The Eagles opted not to pick up Dotso’s 5th year option, so they don’t have him for one more season. They only have him for this season.

This would be the one more season

Can’t image we keep DTR at QB but would be a good thing to let him get some film so maybe another team picks him up.

Been hearing some good things about our WR depth Terrance Marshall apparently been playing well, cooper and cooks having been looking good in camp as well

Real question is what is the expectations for Dotson or any 3rd WR on this team??? at best they would be the 4th option in the passing game more likely the 5th behind AJ,Smith,Geodart, Barkley.

On top of us only throwing the ball 25-30 times a game.

Like using a FB…several ways this can be utilized. One being gives that player in the backfield can pick up the blocking so the RB can go out as a receiver. Another front to physically rush the ball.

The more he produces…the more he’ll cost to retain

I posted who I thought would be on the 53. marshall has a tendency to be lazy. No room for that here, the other 2 are on my listed post

So you don't want him to produce? If he produces and we want him back and he wants to much he goes away. Howie will not overpay for a slot. he also has value as a decent enough BU

An issue for Rosie. So he showed him.

I have been myself. Don’t you recall me talking about the Niners playing a physical brand of ball …zigging while most are zagging to finesse. How much I believe in doing that…don’t just go along with copycatting. Kind of how you think…always trying to pretend like the future can only happen like the past.

I recall GB constantly saying the Eagles have been doing things differently

Suspect if he does well this year we would offer him a decent multi year contract but not at 16 million a year. At that point he could accept or reject Howies offer to stay

I like that he can BU either of your top WR's and produce there if needed

Exactly…not just some Slot only option..very key

Pretty odd then you don’t recall me talking about that for years and years

Even specifically going into detail about being a physical team to punch team in the mouth the more the rest of the league has turned to finesse.

LBs being much more evaluated on pass coverage than run D. Pass rushers making the big bucks. On and on….

It’s not just the 16…that could actually be possible. Fifth year option is fully guaranteed and all hits that years salary cap. That’s what makes it much more difficult for Rosie to suck up …like he did overpaying Jordan Davis. But there wasn’t a thought he was picking up Dotson fifth year option.

Jordan Davis did slim down…so hopefully he is ready to contribute much more finally.
